Herald Sun readers will be able to pick up the following:
- Saturday February 4, 2012 with a FREE DVD Planet Earth: Pole to Pole
- Sunday February 5 2012 with a FREE DVD The Blue Planet: Open Oceans
Herald Sun readers will be able to pick up the following:
For those in Syndey, the same DVDs are available with the purchase of The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph from Sunday 5th -19th February.
And for those in Brisbane with the Sunday/Courier Mail
Will the DVDs be included in the free Herald Sun that McDonald's is offering with every McValue breakfast meal??
Doubt it, you might need to clip a coupon or whatnot and take it to a newsagency.
How much is a McValue breakfast meal with newspaper?
that explains why there was a huge rip in the page when I went for breakfast lol
Crap food with Crap newspapers…nice ;)
Planet Earth would be the only redeeming thing about that combo if it even comes with it.
DO Herald Scum readers care about BBC Earth? I thought it'd appeal to a more educated (The Age) demographic.
I think it is rather ironic that the Herald Sun is distributing something that actually has knowledge and will not dumb down people like its newspaper does. Something is wrong!
I believe with the Hobart Mercury they will be available from Feb 18th with a coupon, or you can purchase the education set until the 10th as a school resource, which includes 15 DVDs in a box, workbook and 25x10 newspapers for $40. Voucher option sounds good :)
I just watched Pole to Pole yesterday .. Planet Earth is an amazing documentary series!
Hope it was on Blu-ray!
Was a pile of these on the counter when buying the AGE, asked how much.
"Ya can have one the're free!"
"Ta, free of Andrew Bolt as well!"
Win/win <G>
If you can get The Age instead, this is an amazing deal!
Best reason to read this litter tray liner 'news'paper I have ever seen!!
EDIT: actually you don't have to read it! Maybe skim and look at the pictures…
all up with papers this collection is gunna set you back $42.50 yeahhh total bargain
Planet Earth: The Complete BBC Series [Blu-ray] http://amzn.com/B000MRAAJM from Amazon $41.99 new, ~$25 used, but only 11 parts, the herald sun is four parts ahead. I'll be asking my local newsie if he'll sell 'em to me without the paper.
Much cheaper from Amazon.co.uk (has been around $20~ delivered on Blu-ray beore).
Awesome freebies.
