I'm sure it's a cracker - however if you want to save around $835 here's a rather good alternative Botrytis Semillon
Didn't realize that they still did this in 750ml bottles. 375ml is better for us.
You can get the 375 ml Noble One, in store, for $25 a bottle.
Agree that the Noble One is lovely. I also really like Brown Bros Noble riesling. I will also note that many years ago I went halves in a bottle of d'yquem at auction. Cost $80 for a 750ml bottle, so $40 each….. it was a few years ago, but still seemed a lot. However. By gum it still is up there with the best wine I have ever had.
Is it worth the money? Only if you can afford it. Personally I doubt I will ever buy another bottle. Why does it cost so much? Well that is a very good question for a lot of wine, but there is an insane amount of manual effort involved with this - they pick each grape individually for example…..

We got to taste some 50 year old Muscat at All Saints and it was liquid gold. It was part of a vertical tasting of Muscat’s and cost us $5 for tasting four different aged Muscats.
We also had a friend who has shared a few Granges with us over the years. He was buying them for, roughly, $25 a bottle back when they were released. It is fun but I’m happy to go quaffers for “often” and mid range for friends.
If you like sweet wines you'll never go wrong spending ten to fifteen bucks on Brown Bros. It's not great but it's always exactly what you expect and it's always good enough.
YMMV.

The top of the range is $300 more at Dan Murphys, it's also a top year for the wine being rated at 100.

It is Costco wholesale. I don't think they sell fiddly small quantities. You go there to buy catering quantities, no? 15 cans of beans, 2 litre jugs of tomato sauce , … Though I've not been in some years. Have they gone more retail?
You can buy individual bottle of booze. I recommend the Kirkland Sangria if people are looking for a quaffer. It is $10 for 1.5l.
