Was browsing for some parts for a friend and came across the board I personally bought earlier in the year for $399 when it was first released. I've been happy with the board and performance thus far.

Not to be mistaken with the "Plus" variant (you can compare the differences here(asus.com)).
Main differences are better LAN, WiFi, BT and also has BIOS flashback.

    This if you can find the rest of the parts to complete your system now. I haven’t noticed the fan noise on mine

    Yeah, maybe this is the new pricing going forward (maybe because the x570s boards are coming), but there's still a few retailers charging more than this.
