Most Reliable Website to Purchase Software Keys

Wondering what the most reliable website is to buy software keys? Games and office etc.?

Edit; that resells bulk keys for example, not the obvious 'go to microsoft'.

I use Steam and Epic for gaming and usually buy norton from ebay but require an office 2019 key

Greenmangaming and cdkeys are my go to.

G2A and kinguin aren't awful for cheap games and keys, wouldn't buy anything more than $20, but they are scummy

100% legit keys would be from the company directly or official resellers.
Grey market sellers like CDkeys are safe from experience, keys are sourced from cheaper countries.
G2A, Kinguin, random eBay seller you have no idea if legit or not. Some developers prefer you just straight up pirate the game instead of funding black market sellers

Most are not legit or are scams or have malware.

Are you concerned that the key won’t work, or that you might not have a valid licence?
If you want a valid licence, there really aren’t many discounts to be had.
If you just want a key that works, most options will be fine, and if the key is invalidated in a year or two, so what? It was $3, buy another.

Bear in mind, as FireRunner says above, cheap keys are rewarding shonky sellers, so consider pirating yourself, rather than paying someone else to do it on your behalf if you don’t want to support the software authors.

  • I always thought they were cheap as they were operating under the volume licensing/PC builder model. I didn't realise they were fake keys.

Had to swap SSD and have the software but the home user program code now didn't recognise it's the same machine, hence why I don't want to spend a fortune on another if I don't have to. The Home user helpline were not very knowledgeable but said a different SSD would be enough to trigger it being a "new" machine and they no longer offer 2019, only 365.

    • Get on the phone and call microsoft

Oh wait, they aren't supporting 2019? Or they want to force you to upgrade to 365?

      • I spoke to them. They referred me through the HUP who said too bad so sad, buy 365.
