    I know nothing about AFL or what a membership is worth if you can't get to the MCG and Etihad Stadium etc, but apparently it is now available on Foxtel on the 360, with the first month free…see here for more info:

      if you read terms for foxtel on xbox on fox sports, u only receive one 'morphed' sports channel and not all 4 like normal. while u may get 8 live games 94 live on free to air anyways0 ur not garanteed other live sport u may want to watch

        Sounds like the Footy Channel will be a separate channel though.

        $20 per month for the Footy Channel via XBOX Foxtel sounds reasonable, but they force you to bundle it with $30 worth of other stuff and it suddenly sounds much less attractive.

    Can I neg vote because Eddie McGuire is the "face" of the Fox Footy channel? Do OzB rules cover Eddie? People willingly paying to watch this guy is up there with the Loch Ness Monster and Bermuda Triangle as one of the world's great and unexplainable mysteries.

      Worth a shot, the only issue may be them wanting to charge you installation fees (seems to be $250 for this package) despite you already having it. Does also state in the conditions "New subscribers" only so could be difficult

    I usually buy my AFL tickets on eBay where they go for less than cost unless it's a big game. May be a good investment if you can flog each ticket on eBay for say at least $20, which brings the value up to $800. How do you book your tickets ahead of time with an AFL membership? I seem to recall there is a fee to do so.

      It's a card you use to scan at the match. Not individual tickets, unless pre-booked.

        Yeah, but to sell the tix on eBay, you would need to prebook to receive the e-tickets to send out to the buyer. I had a look at it seems to be about $5.50-$11. Bit of a rip-off, probably not worth the hassle.

    Did I read correctly, you get an IQHD box but with the recording function disabled???

    Heck, just buy a club membership (usually half the price of an afl membership) and wait for Eofys!
