NOTE - the original cashback deal expired YESTERDAY (31-02-2012), so your task is to find a new replacement deal.
Roche (the distributor) have these cashbacks all the time… so you could just phone them up and ask when the next one is planned.
Howdy there
Thanks heaps for your reply and the links.
sure ll order those ones from Towers web site
have a great and a wonderful day
cheersBuy enough lithium cells as spares while you are at it.
Why dont you contact Optimum and ask them for freebies.
I know they give out freebies quote often. Or contact Diabetes Australia for freebies. Most companies selling glucometers work on the gillette model. free glucometers, you just have to buy the test strips. and the glucometers are useless without test strips anyway.
Thanks Guys for the advice.
Sadly i did contact Diabetics Australia since last Aug and never heard from them(Iam prediabetic and just wanted to enroll on their healthy course).
Iam not in risk anymore as i become a Vegan ,since them my sugar went down.
please Photonaturally whats the url for Optimum?
Thanks again for the great advice
cheersI think the abbots diabetes care handle optimum products.
Accu chek Active is about $15 at chemist warehouse. There was a $40 cashback on some models but it expired end of january.
the chemist told me that another cashback starts this month, somthing like $60 cashback for the latest Accu chek Mobile. Check different stores as I remember some were selling the Mobile for $69.
Thank you all for your answer
i found this great deal ,the Accu chek for only $6.29

Check this deal out further : http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/61884
The OP states that it has expired, see if the manufacturer has started a new Promo, then search for the item on special elsewhere.
For example (just the first Google result):

That price is $35 each - plus $40 Manufacturer's cashback = $5 in front to buy strips with
