[eBay Plus] Baseus 65W Car Charger PD QC4.0 Fast Charge USB Type C $17.99 (was $24.99) Delivered @ baseus_official_au eBay

190
PLUSTI20

The store has dropped the price 10% on these from their normal price then you get an additional 20% off the discounted price to bring it down to the $17.99. It's the cheapest I've ever seen these. I'm getting one of these for my wife's Macbook for road trips.

The other variants in the listing are all discounted 10% before the eBay code. I'm getting the one with the 100W cable as the price for that is $23.03 with the discounts, down from $31.99. The cable is usually $11.99 on its own.

  • Is that genius car charger for oppo x2 pro

  • +2

65w only on 24v outlet which is none of them.

Works with my Lenovo laptop charges at 65W. Bigger issue is that thru the USB port it says it supports 27W but it doesn't cos it won't charge my Poco F3

Nope best you can do is 12v 3A or 36w not 65w.

        • +1

Er my laptop turned on measures 41W so how do you explain that

          • @adrianhughes1998: In the description is sounds like you can possibly get 15v 3A, so 45W, off the 12v outlet. Although it's 12v outlet you can get 14-15v when the car is running and that 45w is generally enough to charge most USB-C powered laptops.

So I think you both have good points, you should be able to charge your laptop from your 12v outlet but you won't get the full 65w charging from the regular 12v socket.

Well that's what I'm hoping as I purchased one, so I guess I'll soon find out

            • @TThomas: I get what you're saying but I'm getting 41W with components and display on of laptop, so I'm guessing it goes above 45W when charging with the laptop actually turned off (and charging thru USB C as you said).

It's nice and works well in my car, have had it since late last year

            @adrianhughes1998: 41W < 65W that's how I explain that.

            • +1

@Gusper: Still higher than your 36W. You don't even own one do you, clever monkey.

I've bought two of these for both my cars. They can do 'Super Fast Charging' on the Samsung S20 series with the right cable.

  • I wish there was one of these that charges laptops and has Bluetooth and an FM transmitter!

Thanks OP, I don't have eBay Plus but I did have a $5 voucher available (PLDK5) for using my credit card so I used that to get the combo with the 100W cable as well for $23.79 which is almost as good as your deal.

I've been wanting one of these as it seems to be the only way to get decent watts out of a car cigarette lighter. I'm gonna use it to power up my 372Wh portable power station when driving for when I go camping. I wouldn't recommend using this when the car is off, I could see it killing your car battery in no time! :o

Not to kill your vibe, but Baseus 100W cables can be hit and miss. Had one with my 100W GaN charger from them and it worked half the time with both my 45W and 65W chargers.

Bought two different types of more expensive Baseus cables, one worked, one didn't work completely.

Damn, hopefully these are ok. I do have a pair of 60w Baseus cables that work no issues, but they're only 50cm which is super limiting….

        • Yeah both mine are 60cm as well and eMark so It just doesn't make sense. The Lenovo and Xiaomi cables that came with each of my laptop chargers both work perfectly every single time, which doesn't make sense.

Dunno if Baseus has quality control issues or just duds, but hopefully you get lucky with your cables mate. Hasn't turned me off Baseus products to be honest, cos they are cheap cables and their fast charging stuff is super cool.

I have this exact Baseus car charger and yes it does state in the photo that "USB Port 20V outputs are possible when the input is 24V (large trucks)".
But in a car it can charge at 20V on the USB-C port not the USB port, what we would call the USB-A port. It can charge my Dell XPS 15 at 20.3V
connected to the USB-C port of a normal 12V car, I checked a few minutes ago, I'm pretty sure it could go up to 3.25A as stated. I hope this helps.

Can vouch for these chargers. I use one for work and charges my surface pro without a problem. Also the version with led dial gives voltage of car (alternator/battery), voltage device is charging at, and the amps device is pulling. Very handy
