Not bagging the deal… truly great coupons. But just compared to one product I buy (acuvue trueye) even with the coupon applied the one site i use is still cheaper. I'm sure there are plenty of bargains you can find with the coupon code applied but just incase anyone wonders or is looking for cheap contacts may also want to look into contactconnection.com.au. Again, not bagging!

    • why didnt you post that link earlier? i ordered $200 worth contact just one week ago from clearcontact with only a $10 coupon. they have not even posted it to out. damn. but thank you anyway for the other site, will check out when the coming stock is used up (after about 9months, damn again).

You can still price match up to 30 days after purchase. Check their Lowest Price Guarantee (kudus to cornucopia who posted below).

        • thanks braddsey. email sent and i tried quicklens's price first, as i havent bought private insurance yet so dont mind any invoice stuff. if they do not honor, then will try contact connection.

anyway quicklens's price is very very good.

    • Nice find! I'm gonna try your site cause it looks like I can claim a rebate off medibank!

    • Hi Kristijan08,

I'm sorry to hear that your experience with us was less than satisfactory. When it comes to contact lenses, we want to make sure we always have the lowest price, so if you do find a cheaper price on a competitor website, we will and have always pledged to match it, and then beat 5% of the difference.

If you have any questions about our site, or about this promotion, please feel free to call us at 1-800-639-478 and an agent will be happy to help!

      Best,

      Clearly Contacts.

  • I have a spare 'friends' code if someone would like it - free glasses, you just pay shipping. You need to be a new customer though. Only valid on coupon-eligible glasses.

Acuve Oaysis I use are still cheaper here than Clearly Contacts even if it's free postage and 20 bucks off 100+ order.

Or this American Site ($12.25 ship)

    • I've purchased from quicklens.com.au before and they are fine. They ship from Singapore - but don't let this worry you, they are genuine Acuvue Oasys (I am not aware of any Acuvue contact lenses in the market, but I can confirm 100% that these are genuine).

      • Quicklens don't provide receipts acceptable to Australian private health insurers because they don't have an Australian based subsidiary (CC do!!) Don't use this company if you want to claim the purchase on your insurance. I found this out the hard way…

        • Good to know.

If you're going to buy lenses from CC, take a close look at their 'best available price' policy. They will beat by 5% any other supplier's price you can find online for the same item. I found a price nearly $100 lower for six boxes of Air Optix Aqua elsewhere online and CC took $100 off my bill!! Why then order from CC? Because they provide receipts acceptable to Australian private health insurers! At the matched price my health insurance totally refunded the cost…my actual cost $0!!

    • Do you remember the site you price-matched against? I'm assuming they won't match against quicklens.com.au for the previously mentioned reasons. In their price match T&C's:

"The lower priced online merchant must have the product currently in stock and be an established site as determined by Clearly Contacts."

I'm sure they could find a way to exclude based on this clause.

      • thanks both of you.

      • It was Quicklens….

    • Thanks I'm gonna try do that! :)

  • For Acuvue Oasys lenses I find contact connection cheaper and health insurers will accept invoices.

    http://www.contactconnection.com.au/

$30 a box vs $34.99 (clearly contacts). I suppose you could pricematch as per their T&C's.

  • Anyone actually try to purchase and get a discount? I've tried to order a pair of glasses and entered the code, but it states 'code not accepted'. Is the deal only for contact lenses? or only on specific glasses? Thanks

    • Which one are you trying to use raez?

  • To those wanting to claim back from health funds. Many health funds have stop allowing claims from clearly contacts. I know at the moment HCF aren't allowing claims and I've heard a few other major health funds have stopped. It's due to Clearly Contacts sending products from Canada so technically they aren't Australian products.

You need to check with your provider.

    • Dear Grindo,

I do apologize for any inconvenience or confusion caused. We are currently registered with most Australian health funds, and are finalizing registration with many others. To obtain a complete list, please feel free to call us at 1-800-639-478 and an agent will be happy to advise you further.

      Best,

      Clearly Contacts.

  • Good deal, but the company I use (optics-online.com.au) is usually cheaper by a few dollars for both the lenses and postage. I would save about $22 this time but usually I'd be saving around $8 with who I normally use. They are also registered with the Health Funds so no problems there and are Australian. Never had a problem with them.

  • no interest in such deal

  • Can confirm AUQ1FS works.

AUG110 code does not seem to work with $75+ orders but when applied to a $99+ order it takes off $10. However shipping is still there.
