Paid $20 a few weeks back. The ticket was hand drawn so figured it was store specific so didn't post.
I've also got deals removed for low stock when I've done Bunnings specials so makes it difficult as well

  • Does anyone know if we can pair Xiaomi zigbee devices with this ?

    • Alas not

      • Damn…that's the reason I bought these.anh other suggestions to use this kit effectively?

        • Yes. Ikea bulbs work well with the Hue hub.
I take it you don't want to pay a thousand dollars plus to get Hue bulbs through your home?

Though I recommend using Hue dimmer switches, and the "Hue Essentials" app, which lets you program the 4 buttons individually, so one switch can independently control multiple lights in a room.

    • Hue is just for lights. It pairs with other bulbs if they support the right protocol. You want something like Samsung smart things. Rip.

    • If it's just something you want to switch on and off, yes it can (unless there is some Xiaomi block I'm not aware off). I got some zigbee smart plugs before Philips released their own smart plugs, they are happily seen by the Hue bridge and they can be switched on and off by Hue remotes,

      • I'm surprised. Which ones? Do they appear in the Hue app? Do they emulate light bulbs?

Generally, Hue does not support Zigbee smart plugs or other brands of switch.

        • Yes, they appear in the Hue app, under Light setup. The manufacturer is shown in the app as '3A Smart Home DE' (Hue products' manufacturer is shown as 'Signify Netherlands B.V.')
The plugs show up in the Software Update list as 'Not updateable', which is understandable.

          • @melb melb: So they work by pretending to be light bulbs?

            • @bargaino: At least some of the 3A/Nue Zigbee stuff is recognised by Hue. I've got a couple of different 3A devices and the Hue app happily detects them.

      • Xiaomi's Zigbee implementation is non standard and is not compatible with the Hue hub.

  • Is this homekit compatible?

  • Bunnings at Adelaide Airport have the Hue Starter Kit A60 for $35 this kit contains two white ambiance bulbs (ES) a Hue Bridge and a Switch. (This Starter Kit works with Alexa/Homekit/Google). Not sure if this is nationwide also….
