Not bad? What's the RRP like?

    • RRP $69.95
Current also $53.00 from Philips' Amazon store

      • can you please post the Amazon link? thanks.

    • It's more expensive so probably? 12 pack for $135.30 ($11.28 ea)

      • my bad, thought it said 25.90 for 8

The big downside of Philips toothbrushes their brush replacement heads are a absolute rip off compared to oral-b, somehow they have the market absolutely tight & discounts are rare

You are so right! You could probably get 12 oral b heads for this price and their 3rd party alternatives look much more resonable.

    • The bigger downside is that Phillips handles break down every two years just after their warranty finishes.

      • actually their warranty is 10/10, I claimed almost a year after warranty & they replaced the handle, just make sure you keep the receipt, eventually that one died to lol, onto the new model now, once that goes dont think ill buy phillips again due to the brush head prices, just a rip off, oral-b fairer value

      • They do a 3-year warranty now if you add your information into their warranty system with 30 days (i think) of the original purchase

  • Problem with 3rd party alternatives is they don't last as long as the real thing. And also shame about the black heads never on sale. But for me personally, the Philips is a much better brush than Oral B. Hands down

no , the 3rd party last the same as the philips one ,
the only different is the philips one got a micro chip build in to tell u when to replace the brush, that why it cost a lot more compared to the 3rd party and oral b.

      • It's quite possible the 3rd party ones I've tried were no good and inferior. Interesting info about microchip built-in. Not sure if it's a feature that is helpful or out to grab your cash

      • Where/which 3rd party brush heads do you get?
I checked on eBay they all didn't look too good from their photos

from kogan, i tried to find the link for you but no longer available,
it look exactly like the original one just dont have the philips logo and don't have a microchip inside.
