I own this backpack, bought it in a previous deal, here's my thoughts.
The Dell Gaming Lite Backpack 17 laptop pocket is no bigger than my similar sized 15" Dell backpack, both backpacks laptop pockets are exactly 310mm wide.
The laptop pocket can fit my 15" Dell XPS while it's in a laptop sleeve and laptop bag quite snugly, so my guess is that it would just barely fit a 17" laptop without a sleeve.
The material is shiny and a bit stiff, making it more difficult to get into the smaller pockets. There's an adequate amount of padding to protect your laptop,
particularly on the back and the bottom. The Dell Gaming Lite Backpack 17 stands out with it's bright red trim and Dell logo,
making it in my opinion more likely to get stolen, thieves are going to think there's got to be something good in there.
I like this laptop bag, it has good access and the zip to the main compartment allows you to open the bag up wide to provide good access.
The outer material feels like a Gore-Tex raincoat making it feel like it's rain proof, though I have no idea if it is. The zips feel premium or at least good quality
along with the rest of the backpack, at $23.20 inc delivery, it's and O.B no brainer. It would make an ideal Kris Kringle present, or just re-gift it if you don't like it!

Bought this during the last deal. I don't mind it. I wouldn't pay more for it. It's not very big, not enough pockets. And the pockets are small too. Not entirely a bad thing if you want a slim bag and want to travel light. Forces me to pack light for work.
