Cooler Master Mini ITX Case NR200 $69 / NR200P $99 / NR200P White $119 + Payment Surcharge + Delivery ($0 NSW C&C) @ PC Byte

280

Edit 29/5/21: Seems like they dropped the NR200 by $10, maybe to match the Centre Com deal.

Was browsing around PC Byte after clicking on the $99 H100i deal and noticed this deal on the ever popular NR200 cases. Had a quick skim through search and nothing was cheaper for the NR200.

  • What about the actual build quality? TweakTown mentioned that its solid panel is somehow flimsy.

    • I'm not too sure since I've never owned one. I have heard good things about it so I've already ordered mine. Hopefully someone else can help with that question.

I have the NR200P. First CoolerMaster case I've owned because I normally go Corsair. Came in a pre-built (in order to get a 3070).

I feel the build quality is quite good. It seems solid to me. I was getting some vibration on the top mesh panel (which is friction/grommet mounted to the main body of the case) but this was a fan issue and resolved with some nice Noctuas.

      • Great feedback thanks mate

They are very good. I was surprised. The metal is solid and feels premium.

      • Awesome. Thanks for sharing!

Probably one of the better/best case I've built in. It's made of steel so the pieces are quite solid but comes at the disadvantage of increased weight. I would have much preferred a premium version made of aluminium but at that price point, there might be better ones out there. For a sub $100 AUD case, it's value and build quality can't be beaten, especially in the itx market.

Really hard to beat for the price (even better with this offer). The panels are far from flimsy - they're not "premium" but you're not paying top dollar for it either. Awfully tempting at $79 but I really should save it for the SSUPD Meshlicious when a deal for that comes up.. for whatever reason, I don't like building stuff in the same case twice

      • SSUPD is the sub-brand of Lian Li so I would assume the overall design and quality is top-notch. PCCG has it for 169 or so? Not bad even there's no discount!

True, true. I'm in no rush to build another PC at the moment so happy to hold out for a deal on the SSUPD. I have a habit of stock-piling PC parts when they're on sale. I just wish I had the foresight to grab a bunch of GPUs when prices were "normal"

  • Hold up.. does the 240mm AIO even fit in this? Apparently only the side?

    • goes in the top, but the big boon of these cases is that they fit big tower coolers (up to 155mm in height) which is what i would use if i was building in this case.

i recently finished a build in a lian li TU150 which is similar to this, and used a Noctua NH-U12S (and it would have fit a NH-D14 I had if i was willing to remove the rear 120mm fan).

240mm AIO needs to be at the bottom with GPU side mounted or AIO Side mounted and GPU in the normal position.

There is no way for the AIO to be top mounted.

        • Shit sorry, thanks for correcting - my recollection of seeing Reddit builds with top mounted AIOs in this were all after some mods were done.

        • I read somewhere that most AIO should not be mounted on the bottom.

Why is white more expensive? #BLM
