Jagged Alliance 2 is an excellent Xcom-style turn-based strategy game. Apparently Wildfire adds a lot of stuff but with extreme difficulty, so start with Classic or play at your own risk.
Edit: From Steam reviews it sounds like the Classic version, which is sold as DLC for Wildfire, might have issues, e.g. being an outdated version and/or compatibility issues on Win10? The Wildfire version doesn’t seem to have those complaints but apparently the difficulty is quite extreme. You might be better off finding the original ancient version of JA2 and applying this fan-made patch: http://ja2v113.pbworks.com/w/page/4218339/FrontPage
