Had my eye on one of these and they've suddenly appeared in stock and at 50% discount. Equal lowest ever according to Camel. Generic brands at Aussie camping shops run around $80. Lots of positive reviews for this chair in my research, the downside over more expensive brands is the weight (900g) but if you can manage that, it looks to be the goods.

  • $20 at ALDI when they do camping stuff

The Aldi ones are junk unfortunately - bought 2 and 1 died in warranty, the other a few months later.

        your 'chair' died ?

        • People use “died” as a metaphor for “broke”. His chair broke, and he returned it under warranty.

      • mines still kicking after a few years, but those seams look like a prime failure point

      • I have two we use regularly and they are going great. I'm almost 100kg.

Looking at camelcamelcamel 49 is the standard price. Amazon occasionally puts it on reverse sale and increase the price.

    • It used to be, however has been sitting higher for a while recently. Not sure why. Last time I looked a few weeks ago it was $102

      • Yeah no idea why amazon does it. The chair was 49 for all of feb, mar and most apr then went above 120 for like a month and a half. Maybe they had low stock.

        • Something a bit strange going on especially with the pricing of the other colours. I agree given the US price is around $39 they should sit pretty close to this normally.

          • @Dandaman21: 3XCamels just tracks 3rd party - that's all 3rd party including Amazon US. When Amazon US goes out of stock, the next cheapest reseller is tracked. They just went out of stock. No conspiracy involved… :)

I have 2 of these and they are great for kids. Personally whilst I can fit in them they aren't great for long periods of time as an adult. You are better off with the more expensive Yizi Go Plus for an adult.
However this size they are great for watching kids sport or picnics as they are small and good to have in the boot of a car.

  • I have one of these and they're great, have taken them on multiple hiking trips. I'm an adult (6ft2 - 80kgs) and find them comfy as, even for long periods.

    • I find this comfy enough to sit in when slumped in and laying back but it's not the best to be upright in. Also, being so low to the ground your legs need to be bent at the knees and you can't really stretch them out which is what I like to do after a hike. I've abandoned mine and given it to the kids - I'd rather sit on a mat on the ground.
