    First Choice Liquor

    Now on clearance

I guess in this case it wasn’t people’s first choice.

  • Still over priced. China stopped buying it and exports to USA/UK/NZ/Canada have waned.
Producers are pouring it down the drain.
    Should be $5/bottle.

    • It's so good we're not going to make it anymore.

    • It is now.

  • enjoy the jokes and no offense taken but FYI this was always a "job lot" for summer promotion - here are some tasting notes for the brand (the still version which is 80% same liquid and is still stocked ongoing):

    The Real Review
“Gorgeous pale-salmon-pink hue, with a nose that exudes freshness. The palate is restrained, dry and savoury with faint lemon peel nuances. An excellent example of a contemporary dry rosé that tastes as good as it looks.“

“Light hot-pink colour, fresh and bright. The bouquet is of dried herbs, fresh tobacco and a hint of raspberry. The wine is light-bodied and easygoing, fruity and straightforward, not really bone-dry but clean on the finish.”
Huon Hooke / Acclaimed Wine Writer

    Broadsheet
Juicy then swerves to dry. Red cherries married to blood orange tang. Scents of rose water and watermelon. Ticks lots of boxes. While relatively simple, the pleasure factor is through the roof. Summery stuff.

  • like the reviews,
broadsheet “pleasure factor through the roof” if it’s free samples most people would agree free booze is pleasure factor through the roof,

not sure about why huon hooks thinks tobacco with a hint of raspberry is a good flavour combination, but to each their own.
