Regular & Cali Burritos $10 + Delivery @ Guzman Y Gomez via Deliveroo

810

$10 Burritos until 30 May.

It may stack with the $1 Delivery deal if you use the app according to that post, however after changing my address to somewhere near Guzman, the $1 did not appear for me. Otherwise delivery fee varies depending on the distance from restaurant, after testing on desktop (from $0.99).

Best Mexican franchise in Australia hands down.

Which is amazing considering how flippin easy it is to make.

      • +4

Except at scale and maintaining consistent quality.

    • And we've exported it to the USA

    • +8

Totally agree. Tastes good like Chipotle

mad mex and zombrero are so nasty

      • +7

Zambrero is a joke. Too bad.

If you have no tastebuds imo… Been to a handful of their "restaurants" to be sure it wasn't just one bad franchise and kept giving them a try because people kept saying this but was bitterly disappointed everytime.

Crunchy rice, too much juice in meats so the whole thing becomes a soggy mess, staff stuff up customising a burrito worse than asking McDonald's to skip your pickles and can't follow instructions.

Not to completely sh1t on them, their sauces are good.

I have no idea how they keep opening more franchises when I can cook better Mexican with a slow cooker.

The subway style Mexican is where it's at, making the food at a counter infront of you like Mad Mex, Zambrero

        LOL.

Meat too juicy, rice to delicious, sauces too good. 0/10

        • -2

If undercooked rice in a burrito, 100ml of juice for every 20g of meat is your thing who am I to judge your poor culinary choices.

$6.99 delivery for me, big oof.
    9 minute drive away.

    • -5

      go pick it up

      • +2

The deal seems to be for delivery only.

        • +3

The burritos on the GyG app have been $9.90 for the past year if you want to pick it up instead.

  • Can you go into the store to buy at this price? Or is delivery fee subsidising this price

    • +4

$9.90 on the GYG App everyday

  • +7

    Regular burrito is already 9.95

  • +4

    Cali burritos are so good

    • Much better than the regular burritos?

      • +1

Just hot chips instead of rice afaik. Yum

    HOW GOOD ARE CALI BURRITOS

    • much better than the regular one

  • menulog always free delivery for me, so it works out the exact same price unless you order a cali burrito :) nice deal on cali though

    • Interesting, on Menulog regular Burritos show $14.90 for me in SA, NSW & QLD for a few random stores I checked.

      • yeah but delivery is free. For me the delivery fee was 5$ :( should've mentioned that part oops

        • All good, it was my misunderstanding :) I see what you mean now.

  • Bad experience getting one. I left a negative 1 star on Google reviews.

    • +2

You shouldn't negatively review restaurants after bad delivery experiences unless the food itself was bad. It was very likely deliveroos fault for whatever happened rather than restaurant.
