They drop pretty regularly to this price point but hadn't seen them drop for a short while (had to get one at full price for my daughters birthday).

    Yep. Amazon did these for $248 in March (picked one up then), although according to CamelCamelCamel that was a historical low.

    I'd much prefer dealing with Amazon for warranty though, and based on my experiences with the joycons on the original Switch (the same joysticks are use in the Lite), you will likely need to make a warranty claim at some point.
