  I had a Revolut account in the UK, they have targeted offer for free physical card+delivery every few months. Think they would do the same in Oz. Edit: Sorry, after reading the comments further down the page, it seems you can only get the referral bonus if you order a physical card, so you get $40 net.

I signed up via random referral, deposited $25, did ID check and ordered physical card.

Received the $50 bonus after maybe 30 minutes. I haven't even done the 3 purchases!

(But I had to pay $9.99 for a physical card) But I guess thanks for the $40!

Worked for me. The referral link I used said "expiring soon" on the landing page.

I signed up, verified email, verified ID, ordered card for $9.95, made 3 transactions using the virtual card, and the $50 appeared instantly after that.

My referral link has changed slightly for the promo. Previously it looked like https://revolut.com/referral/username but now it appears as https://revolut.com/referral/username!XXXX
The link with !XXXX at the end says expiring soon, and the one without is just the regular promotion. I’m assuming they need to be links with !XXXX at the end for this promotion to work.

        @ChipsChicky: I use it as a cash account here in Oz, and for all overseas transactions and transfers to family and friends back in UK. NB I have the Metal plan so the higher ATM limit means I don't ever have to pay for ATM withdrawals (I don't use cash that often)

Referred my partner and just confirming the process that worked for me (mostly covered above):

Referred via the supplied referral link in the app (including the expiring soon note on the referral). Make sure that the referral says Expiring Soon (also the referral URL including !XXXX at the end as per above), as this seems to be the link for the $50.

Signed up using personal details, verified via the license photo and selfie.

Added $25 via Apple Pay and instantly topped up the account to $25.

Select a physical card and order it for $9.99.

Select a free virtual card and create.

At this point, the verification should be complete if all good, if not I'd recommend ensuring the verification is completed (restart app to confirm / check email).

Make 3 purchases using the virtual card details (I purchased 3x $1 Amazon eGift Cards).

Once the payments have processed, $50 will be deposited straight into your wallet.

    I think you may have misread, the OP mentions that eligible referrals include that notice, so they’re both the same.
    
    You can get $1 Amazon gift cards here by putting $1 in the other amount box and adding to cart. I did 3 separate transactions of $1 each but due to Amazon’s fraud checks they take a bit of time to clear.

darn.. looks like I'm outta luck with this.. I put 25 in and ordered a card delivery for 9 while waiting for them to verify my ID.

unfortunately I only have a Queensland ID Card at the moment, actual license is expired and suspended .. it's all I have.. it's basically VERY similar to a QLD Drivers Licence.. issued by the same government department, the id proof requirements… same layout and basic info.. the reference number shown is the same number on both. Tried explaining this to the help chat but they told me too bad darn it

ok the app does say Australian Drivers Licence or Australian passport only. but generally in my experience most companies will accept the card no worries. not able to get a Australian passport. o well
