Enjoy. Didn’t need any myself but thought I’d keep the community updated and warm.
Just picked one up to see me through the bitter Melbourne winter, cheers OP!
Cheers op just got the jacket, used the code welcome10 for an extra 10 off
Anyone know if any of these pack down into a small travel bag?
I think the thermoball can do that. Check reviews.
Can confirm it packs down to a small size - a little less than a 1litre Nalgene bottle.
Also $175.50 at Wild Earth for the camouflage (free shipping with Couriers Please) OR $166.72 using code GETWILDER

550 down count on TNF jacket.
Macpac halo is 600 down count at half the cost on discount. Are there any other advantages to the TNF one other than brand?Almost definitely no IMO. The brand makes up 99% of the price difference in the more common everyday consumer products. When it gets up to higher end mountaineering gear, then yes there's a difference, but otherwise, probably not.
Cheers thanks
Macpac and uniqlo are hard to beat on value.
Please consider the ethical acquisition of the duck or goose feathers. Marmot is notorious for live plucking. Uniqlo is also dubious. (Patagonia rates highly.)
Had a look at the down from my Macpac jacket and was all Chinese based , so I'm sure they dipped the duck in lead paint first then plucked them in a labour camp…
Get a Thermoball - no feathers.
Thanks OP, I didn't even know what an Aconcagua was - but I definitely needed one - score! Plus, I even got to join a club so now I feel extra special. Happy day. :-)
