Is this not the original RRP? how is this a deal?

    • +1

Erm… no. RRP is $399 at apple. $304 at OW currently.

Item < $300 you may consider an expense at tax return time.

      • How do you make AirPods a legitimate business expense? Asking for a friend :)

Which wireless headphone has replaceable batteries? Keen to know.

      • -6

Lots, e.g., Shure SE wireless versions. Also, Bose, Sony, etc. where you can actually take apart the cups to get to the battery then reassemble. Samsung ones have designs that can be opened up and replaced. These are sealed tight and impossible to open without destroying. Honestly though, I prefer wired headphones for the quality of audio, longevity, and no radiation.

        • How we get the battery ? Has any shop sold this battery for the product u mentioned?

          • -1

@HolyCr4p: AirPods Pro Battery are replaceable, simple google showed options https://www.businessinsider.com.au/apple-airpods-pro-battery… whether someone is adventurous to DIY, if not get a professional to do it.

            • @SF3: They’re not actually replaceable. It’s more of a trade in than a replacement because Apple already charged you exorbitant prices for something that cost about 1/5 of the selling price to make. So what they’re doing is selling you another one for less margin.

          • @HolyCr4p: You can get them, I’m sure. Whether it’s easy to do is another question, but the point is that the actual process isn’t physically impossible unlike with AirPods where it’s impossible to do without destroying it.

This is the cheapest price for AirPods Pro which makes it a bargain. The subjectivity of whether AirPods Pro are a decent product for you individually is a separate matter. They have tons of added value especially in the user experience that many others do enjoy.

Cheapest price for something doesn’t make it a bargain if it’s a crappy product that’s guaranteed to break and become e-waste. Why not get a proper pair of wired earphones that last longer and sound sound better? The total cost of ownership over a longer period of time will be less and it’s better for the environment. Also running out of power on earphones suck.

        • Cheapest price for something doesn’t make it a bargain.

Well, yes, yes it does. If it's the cheapest price for that item, it's a bargain deal.

          Have a re-read: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guidelin…

My original launch day AirPods lasted me 4 years solid of daily work calls and music and were absolutely fantastic. I'm pretty happy with that lifetime stretch for headphones. I've since upgraded to the AirPods Pro and loving them even more. The convenience, immediate pairing, device switching and noise cancellation for that bracket have been a godsend for the MS Teams calls world we live in today.

Tens of millions of people seem to agree. You're perfectly entitled not to. To each their own.
