This was on sale in the tool section in an area full of miscellaneous items all marked down. Probably had about 10-15 XU1's on sale.
My brother doesn't know how to turn a screwdriver, so this makes a perfect present.

For $10 it seems a good deal but keep your reciept as it has nicad batteries and you may need it when you return it :)
12 month replacement warranty should come in handy.
Not sure if you are suggesting returning it when the nicads lose the ability to hold a charge, but warranties on items like this never include batteries unless dead pretty much at first few uses.

At Bunnings Innaloo in WA it's $19.98 (I went in and had it scanned just in case).
Cheers for letting us know, saves me from having to do the same.
