Pretty turbulent with prices, first came out at $5.49 > $2.99 > $0.99 > $2.99 > $0.99 > free and whatnot. May as well grab it, could be worth $5.49 again in the future.

no, I 'finished' the game without paying for upgrades in solo mode, I have played it for hours. It is a good game, best overhead driving game on the ipad - but I could never get the percentage completion to finish even when I beat the final boss car.

Looks like the cartoon game version of DeathRace (the movie, starring jason statham)
that was more of a live-action version of the game mentioned below (If it were ever to have a storyline).
I loved the DOS game, finished it over and over.

Loved this when it was the old DOS game that Apogee put out in the mid 90's and love this iOS version as well. I picked it up last time it was free… great fun!
