670

Hey Ozbarganiers,

Just noticed in the Woolies catalogue that 3 pack (250 ml each) Up and Go is up for the grab for $2 (save $2.25). On sale from tomorrow i.e. Wed 25th Jan.

Cheers,
Sean

EDIT - Forgot to add, this is according to catalog delivered in Vic. I am not 100% sure whether this will be available nationally (I hope it is).

  • Is it the normal ones or Energise ones?

    • +2

according to the picture in the catalog, it is normal one.

      • Nooooooo :(

      • I prefer the normal one actually, I know energize has more protein but it has a strange aftertaste, in my opinion anyway

  • Good price. Where can you see the following week's catalogue ahead of schedule? I've never been able to view the Woolworths one first, whereas Coles upload their one from Monday 5pm onwards (after which point I don't think you can view the current catalogue)

I got the catalog delivered in my mailbox. I know online it still shows the current one.

    • Woolies site doesnt load properly and always got some sort of SQL error or some syntax error. Prefer Coles's site over woolies, but got to see all of em to get bargains.

i will bet once i stock up on this they will have thee 6pack on sale for $3.50 ? great timing though as i have run out of stock the last time this was on sale.. heading to woolies tomorrow.

  • +5

Yeah will stock up, last time bought 25 of them. I'm just that lazy in the mornings.

  • LOve these too so will need to stock up - would prefer if they were either the lite Vive versions or Energize (extra protein) but oh well.
Can anyone actually give a definitive answer on the healthiness of these? Fibre/Protein/Fat/Sugar etc? Always seem pretty good whenever I look at the label! Cheers

    • 4g fats, 30g carbs, 10g protein from what I recall. Prefer solid foods as a gym junkie but these do come in handy from time to time.

      • Of the carbs, how much is sugar?

They are 7.2% sugar, OK for some people, a little too much sugar for my diet. The protein smoothies I make now taste nicer and are lower in sugar, but not as convenient.

    • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Excellent! I knew they'd go on special in time for back to school bargains. Definitely time for a big stock up here.

    • They were having trouble keeping the shelf stocked at my local woolies yesterday - walked past twice and each time it had been cleared out.

  • Thanks for posting. I prefer Vive as they are lower sugar, but I occassionally have normal ones and this is an excellent price - love it when they go this low!

  • Thanks for posting, I bought 20 last time and just finished them couple of weeks ago, it's time to resupply :)

  • Yes! Stocking up on these!

  • The 1l cartons are also $4 at my local Woolies.

  • Foodworks in St Lucia (maybe other places, I'm not sure) had Up&Go regular and Vive for $1.99 at the moment too. 1c cheaper than Woolworths FTW :)
