Not much to the details as it's just the amazon devices with the 10% bonus.

    Amazon Devices
    10.00% cashback
Echo, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Kindle E-readers, Ring Smart Security, Eero Mesh Wi-Fi
Exclusions: Non Echo Devices with Alexa, Kindle Digital eBooks, Non Amazon-branded Accessories, Audible Audiobooks

Yeah I was mildly excited until I realised title should be something like - Cashback 10% Amazon Devices, up to 6% other categories.
Since we are used to up to 7% other categories.

      • +8

        10% Amazon devices
        6% a few categories
        0% most categories.

        • +3

… and there are gotchas in the 6% categories. For example, Nappies and wipes are 0% even though they are in the 6% Baby category.

  • +39

Should we be worried that you are shopping and checking out cashbacks during a meeting? Lol.

    • +4

      The boss should be :)

    • A true ozbargainer never worries about anything ..lol

      • Except getting the best bargains.

    • I've had a co-worker playing pokemon go during a team meeting. :\

dealbot is a man of focus, commitment, sheer will… something you know very little about. I once saw him post a deal… with a pencil, with a pencil!

    • +1

I tot, he is a bot?

  • +1

10% is only on Amazon devices

  • Must be one of those snoozefest powerpoint meetings.

  • +2

Upvoted for multitasking! Vote #1 Dealbot…

  • +8

+1 for dedication to the cause

  • +1

+1 for me who constantly checks ozb during the meeting.

  • +1

    Come on! Include Lego !

  • +1 Amazon category awareness - also, dealbot is a human?

    • +4

No one knows but there are rumours around these parts that he is a hybrid, part man and part bargain seeking algorithm bot.

  • Pointing out that these are upsized:

Mobile Phones & Wearable Tech 4.00%
    Home Entertainment 4.00%
    Electronics 4.00%
    Camera 4.00%

    • No, electronics has been around that since start of the month, I think the others too.

Both platforms added / increased categories around the start of May.

  • +1 for the dedication. Hope your boss wouldn’t mind it and you can share the deals with them and colleagues after the meeting!

  • +4

-1 for not paying attention to my wonderful points in the meeting.

Don't bother with Amazon cashback, most of my orders were declined, never got approved., pending then declined.

    • Unfortunately you have to get the category right. If it's declined, it wasn't in one of the categories where cashback is offered. Some of it is counterintuitive, e.g. computers are not electronics, smartwatches are not watches. But if you have the category right, it works, e.g. I bought a pack of running socks this week on Amazon and got 6% cashback via Cashrewards (approved), because socks are "Apparel".

      • I am 100% sure I bought the right category, like this photo:

        https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/60614/88931/6a0697d7-9…

It just randomly approved one and declined 4, I didn’t bother to enquire CashReward as it isn’t worth my time.

        • No, you're not sure… and even if you we're sure, there's no history to prove it … and even if have screenshots, they'll claim it's now in the wrong category … and even if it's the right category, CR will tell you AMZ are not paying the cashback on this ASIN … and if you have previously had cashback on the same ASIN, theyll tell you AMZ have a limited supply of cashbacks for that ASIN. https://imgur.com/a/f8RMwE5

          • @mlakmlak: Yes true, this is what I am experiencing, Amazon cashback is suck, they only approve the most profitable ASINs, that’s why I don’t bother with the cashback anymore. I am not sure if the cashback is not paid by Amazon or they paid and CashReward didn’t pay.

Just buy 3%-5% gift card, add to my Amazon account and use it, discount is guaranteed.

  • Why aren't the diapers that I need in stock when the cashback offer is on :'(

    • diapers are almost always zero % cashback if you read the fine print.

      • I thought they fell into the 'Baby Products 6.00%' category. Thanks for letting me know.

Toys still 0%… no lego cashback…

  • Kindle paperwhite would be ok if it was $149 but it's at $169 so better off waiting

    • How and where did you find that!

      • It was in the newsletter from CR

        • Ty!

    • Nice thank you dealbot!

  • I recalled a guy watched porn during the council meeting and got caught. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.buzzfeed.com/amphtml/sahilr…
