Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is currently $799 on Samsung Galaxy Store.
Coupled with $150 voucher (Actually the $200 loyalty coupon you get from Samsung Live Chat) and $50 voucher, it brings the price down to $599!
Trade in to bring price down more!

Note that this is the Snapdragon Version, so it is superior to base S21 AU Version in many ways! Bigger screen, battery, camera etc…
I immediately got one for my mum because $599? Sure why not. Hopefully she doesn't mind late Mother Day's present.

    Does anyone know if they have a PU cover for the phone inside (most phone companies give one but can't see box contents here).

      Samsung and Apple phones don't come with PU covers unless there's a promo

        Was hoping there would be.. Comments in the recent Note10+ deal had people confirming there was a cover in the box.

          I initially said it didn't come with one but later reading the other responses i found it. It was built into the box lid and looked like part of the lid.

          • @3sky: Was there a charger? Mate said the one he got earlier this year had no charger. Didn't realise they stopped shipping them on the FE.

      The regular S20+ did have a clear case in the box. I would hope that the FE is the same.

      Make sure U choose the online trade in and enter credit card details if U choose the instore option you can use that code online U will get that error

  • I got one of the 200 dollar vouchers this afternoon, entered it once and didn't complete checkout. Now it doesn't work.

    So don't enter it unless you are able to finalize checkout!

      No its not. I can still add code fine for 599. So get yours before it truly expires.

    It seems like they stopped accepting the $150 off codes. This sounds like it might go against ACCC

      It's very unusual, It must be due to that guy telling Samsung about the Post here. Staff waded through the messages and decided some people may not have had Damaged Samsung phones and closed the offer. I hope people with a samsung phone will be able to get deal by giving IMEI number or similar

      I just put my order through. The code I had got through calling support earlier didn't work, so I used chat support and they helped me very quickly.

      Yes, my order status is showing Waiting for Approval which is quite weird.

        I order mine around 11:00am WST and received an SMS at 2:31pm WST with dispatch confirmation with Startrack tracking. It showing in transit from Sydney and should be delivered in Perth sometime tomorrow. It's also showing up on my Auspost account.
        FYI I ordered the cloud red.

        On the Samsung page its coming up as Preparing Dispatch. So long you got the dispatch confirmation I would personally just ignore the website. I am assuming Samsung just got heaps of orders.

        Yeh, I got the exact same thing. No dispatch email yet.

        • Mine went to Processing, with number 1 being blue ("Order Placed") and got an Order Confirmation email.

    • You might need the serial number of an old Samsung phone that is damaged and you wish to upgrade. It is supposed to be a loyalty voucher

      • Definitely don't need serial number. I got one this morning and the convo went something like this:

        "Hello, I have an S7 but the home button is broken and doesn't work. I want to upgrade to the S20 FE and I hear there is a loyalty voucher available, is this something you can help with?"

        • I guess my rep was feeling mean. I had a serial number to give so it was no problem

          • @greatlamp: I had multiple browsers, held up a shitty rep on one to clear way for a nicer rep in another. Worked for me. The former asked me for my phone's serial, and ticket numbers of when I first reported damage of my phone to Samsung Support. The latter just went, yep phone broke, here is the code.

        • Same here, I got my newsletter code thanks to a generous person on here, but I have yet to receive my code (2 days so far), so I can share it with someone else on here.

          Did they blacklist Gmail or Outlook by any chance?

          • @TK Deadwalker: Best thing you can do is email samsung (using the email address they provide after you sign up to the newsletter) and say your voucher has not arrived.

            Both times I did that they sent a reply within a day blaming my email provider as the potential cause for not receiving it, and gave me a working code.

              Might try resending the email.

        • That case doesn't offer shock protection does it? just hard plastic mostly to stop scratches and some extra protection against drops

          • @bobvegas: Not really but I've used it for years on my S8+ and its protected it well, even aginst drops. It's hard back plastic and the raised edges are strong.

        • Is the S20 FE 5G same size as the S20 FE 4G version?

          Wanting to buy a case too and want to make sure that S20 FE case will fit this 5G model.

        Just reporting back - the case is fantastic and the microsd card works flawlessly.

      • What's the bit that ends? The phone is 800 from Harvey Norman so that's the normal price plus the voucher is good for 7 days

        • In simple term, Samsung is "price matching" JBHifi and Harvey Norman with their $200 RRP off. Coupled with vouchers, you get $400 off + whatever trade-in you can do.

  • Ordered two phones at 4pm yesterday and my order is sitting at processing and looks buggy (cant see both lines of the order) in my order history.

    I also never received a confirmation email.

    They did take my money though.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    • It's fine. It's also Samsung, so it's fine. There might be delayed due to the sale volumes. If all fails, you will get your money back because it's Samsung :)

    • When you say "sitting at processing" do you mean waiting for approval as mine says that since yesterday morning.

        This is what mine is saying. I phoned them today and they're looking in to it. It says it's waiting for my payment to clear but from my end there isn't a problem with funding as I have the available funds so I think it's a glitch their end.

        • I might call too and see if there is an issue on their end as well.

              @TheGoToStore: Just called they said that my order was stuck there due to a sytem glitch and escalated it to their management team. Could take 3-5 business days for a response. :-(
