I bought some of my daughter;s text books on ebay from BOrders. ebay Borders was cheaper than Borders direct. This would have made the books a bit cheaper, but she starts Monday. I also bought her French textbook on Amazon UK.
I hate these school supply stores. They are such a rip off and have the worst customer service ever. From now on, I am going to do my best to buy as many things as possible elsewhere, just on principle.
Ha, it would take at least 50% off for their prices to be reasonable.
You might be surprised on some items. I've ordered a few books in recent months where Borders was the cheapest (using Booko).
Depends on what you're buying I guess. I checked and Borders has a book for $40 that I bought for $15 from Amazon a month ago. Their sci-fi novels are also over twice the price of Book Depository US and UK.
I ordered a few books for xmas pressies that I could nt get anywhere else on time for cheaper- they were very efficiant :)
