If you change the option from standard packaging to "frustration free" it drops the price to $118.85.

    • That's shipped through Amazon UK. Interesting to see they are letting you chose shipping packaging type

@cute as ducks Oh yes, well spotted, save 15c but wait 3 weeks longer!!

      • Good spot- though im sure some ozbargainers will make the sacrifice- every can't counts!

        • +2

It's not a particularly good price for a BX500. If it was the MX500, we'd have a deal

  • What is "Frustration Free Packaging"?

    • Maybe easier to open?

    • Maybe it ships without the box. No frustration opening the packaging

    • Grumpy Cat option since the cat has no box to play in

lol, that's exactly what my cats do, maybe it's a thing :D

this or SSD 870 QVO SATA III 2.5 inch 1tb for $99.37 after cashback and 17% Ebay Plus discount ?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/174412012723

    • I think cashback purchase period ended 3 May?

    • +1

For primary drive, I wouldn't go either. NVMe SSD if you have the slot otherwise the much better quality EVO 870 or Crucial MX500.
For secondary storage I'd go QVO over BX500 since it has DRAM

    • How do you get 17% discount? Mine is only showing $10 off.

      • Yeah I don't see any 17% off deals ATM.

      • That is supposed to start at 10am today, I'm hoping this item is included

        • +1

          Thanks

        • Looks like not included :(

          • @blues99: unfortunately not included, however Futo online have few items, and they claim that the cashback from Samsung works with them. got a higher model
from and if the cashback doesn't work, I'll be noisy :)

            • @yaaNaa: Thanks will look.

            • @yaaNaa: From samsung T&C's: For the avoidance of doubt, online bidding and auction websites (e.g. www.ebay.com.au) are not Participating Stores for the purposes of the Promotion.

@bananabendera: In the past I purchased from an eBay store, probably futu online, the invoice doesn't day eBay, so I got my cash back with no issues, I'm hoping this time it'll be the same

                • +1

@yaaNaa: Yeah fair enough. Do you know if Futu trades under another another entity name (when it comes to invoices) because I would love to get in on it too, but can't see any mention of them anywhere. Given the cashback has to be submitted through Samsung I'm not sure how that would go.

EDIT: owned by Kai Seng Computers (KS Computers) who IS included in cashback. Gonna roll the dice too

  • Didn't we have the MX500 1TB recently for less than this one?

  • Hey OP…it's now $115 delivered
