May the 4th be with you, friends.

Thanks! I was feeling dispondant, but you have given me new hope.

  • +3

    You get each game twice?

  • Yeah, not sure why each game is listed twice?

  • +3

OP took the listing straight off the fanatical.com website. The error is on the website itself, they've listed each game twice. It's 13 games, not 26.

Damn no tie fighter or xwing games

    • +4

Miss that and my 15pin joystick!

      • +2

I can relate with that… 15-pin joystick with TWO buttons. And flying with Darth Vader in one of the TIE Fighter missions!

        • +2

I managed to figure out how to add the pedals from my 15-pin steering wheel set as a 3rd axis to my joystick… I was super pleased with the results as a 15yo!

Still have the 'shortcut keys' book for X-Wing Alliance in my shed (all 3 PAGES)

          • @Switchblade88: thats pretty awesome.
I played X-wing, Tie Fighter, Privateer, Wing Commander all with keyboard / mouse. probably nowhere near as good, but i didnt know any different. Maybe ill have to grab a Warthog setup for some Elite or Squadrons or something to make up for it :)

      • oh, nice. Thanks mate

Which one of these is the best one?

    • +4

Kights of the Old Republic has to be one of the best games on this list.

Am tempted to buy it just for that cause i cant find my CD copy :-P

      • KOTOR is like $5 on Steam right now if you only want that, but I can also strongly recommend Republic Commando and Battlefront II (2005). Those are the only ones I've personally played and $30 for those 3 is definitely worth it IMO

  • honestly the black background and orange highlights made me do a double take

    • Was that deal you noted a one off or is it a common occurrence? I only got a razer laptop a month ago so I’m now capable of playing new and old games
I’m a huge fan of Star Wars, so I’m really wanting to jump on this deal and live out my old favs - but I also wouldn’t mind waiting if it’s common practice that such deals as what you noted is common occurrence throughout the year

      • not sure how often they offer it

    Missing serveral games
    like

    Squadrons
    and
    Vadar immortal.

The games in the bundle were released mid 90s - mid 00s except for Force unleashed 1 (08) & 2 (10), & Clone Wars (09)
the games you mentioned are still fairly recent and cost individual almost as much as the entire bundle

      • They still left out Rebellion.which was released late 90s and one of my favourites.

  • I got a Star Wars bundle via Steam a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away. If I got this bundle I'd only gain thexwing tie fighter games… hmmmm decisions decisions.

  • Worth it purely for KOR

  • +7

Most of these games were released from 1995 to 2006. I reviewed Dark Forces for a magazine when I was 24. I'm now a 51-year-old dad.

    • +1

Wow. How cool is that? Did you give it a good review?

      • Yes.

    • +1

      Surely you kept a copy!

      Image please.

      • I have my old mags in a box up high in the garage. Just put a sick toddler to sleep and I'm sorry, but my next task is not gonna be searching through dusty magazines, as much as I loved them :)

    • +1

did you work in Hyper magazine?

      • I actually did work experience on issue 3 of Hyper and reviewed a spiderman game for them. But the next year I was employed by another magazine that had a few games reviews up the back. I used to compete with a colleague to write them :) I'm still FB friends with Hyper's first editor. About 10 years later we worked at Yahoo together.

Dark Forces 1 is what made me upgrade my 386sx25 from 4mb to 8mb. Ahh, memories.
