I was on the lookout for a reliable 3 star upright freezer that doesn't break the bank and came across this.
$299 delivered for KF members and includes 2 Year Manufacturer Warranty

  "reliable" and "kogan"…

  My personal past experience, the warranty is not worth the paper its written on relative to the poor service and hoops you have to jump through..

  Since then, my general rule of thumb on buying things on Kogan is to specifically not buy anything kogan branded.

  I'm actually super surprised that Kogan haven't landed in more trouble yet for some of their practices. Their operations feel like a 'mish mash' of ideas from Aliexpress, Amazon, Harvey Norman, all on a relatively poorly executed web platform with poor customer service and poor quality homebrand wares + blurring the lines in a few places on customer rights/best practice.

  A classic example is their price beat guarantee - language seemed to be pinched off one of the other names and they had this tagline, (paraphrasing) "if you find a better price, we will be shocked" - if you called them, they would essentially they are shocked….thats it ….it'd be funnier if it wasn't for all the other issues!

  TBH I don't give the business model a lot of longevity/loyalty once people figure it out.

  Don't bother, it does not auto defrost. Ice builds up in every cabinet forcing you to empty contents and turn off every 4 months until clear. Deal breaker
