And the Dell is currently $447.20 on the ebay deal
so which one is best in terms of ghosting between the Dell S2721DGF, Xiaomi curved 34" or this deal? Because I'm quite sensitive to the smearing/invert ghosting…
Xiaomi will likely be the worst by far, being VA and slower response time. Those IPS ones mentioned here are very fast and should suit you.
Damn I was hoping the xiaomi one would be alright as I want a bigger screen. But thanks anyway mate, guess I'll have to settle with a 27" then…
sips soy milk and logs into reddit account
OMG RGB!!!
Not just RGB… has a HANDLE too so you can cart your glowing 27" monitor around with you everyday :D
Be mindful when you place an order to comfirm that you will be allocate stock.
I have been stung by Rosman's cancellation policy previously on one of their RTX order where i was unlucky to not be allocated stock competeing for the last few they had from the melbourne warehouse. My order was knocked to "pre-order" by COB and after waiting for 4 weeks they charged me a fee for cancelling it.
Yeah ok, saved me from a headache.
I'd take that up with accc or credit card provider man, that's definitely not kosher!
Understand it might not be worth your time but that's seriously bad practice and I wouldn't buy from a company that does that
Thanks for sharing
See my response below. I realized there was a reddit thread on this already after my request to cancel as well.

@Allsum: Id neg the deal based on that. If anything people will read the comment and be saved from this dodgy business.
@PlagueistheCheap: I suppose this is not an issue if you were to walk in to their physical store but I would advise against ordering from their online store.
The issue is because the system does not have a hard limit to stop order based on stock levels and the chances of allocation is really just luck of the draw from competing demand.
they charged me a fee for cancelling it.
Oh hell (profanity) no. They charged you a fee for cancelling an order you never received that was delayed by their own hand? I would be crying havoc and going to my bank for a reversal at that stage.
This is listed under their special "Covid-19" cancellation policy.
Quoting below from their policy here https://rosmancomputers.com.au/terms-conditions-shipping-ret…
Due to the current COVID-19 environment, we reserve the right to charge a minimum 15% or $35 cancellation fee, whichever is the higher amount for non-defective purchases, as the process of allocating stock and subsequently cancelling for the customer is considerably more labour intensive than in the pre-COVID-19 environment.
They make you agree to this policy prior to check out which not many of us actually read including myself. So just want to put a warning here in case you ran into the same issue as me. As for me, I asked for their reasoning and after a bit of back and forth settled on the $35 flat fee instead. Didnt feel like I want them withold my full payment in ransom
Oh yeah I read it exists. Just a bit shitty regardless.
Don't understand how cancelling an order is any different now than before COVID though. Sounds like a bullshit policy made up to fleece money.
Whelp that little tidbit puts them firmly in my personal boycott category. Cheers for the heads up
Negging for these dodgy practices
Hey Rep, why do you now sell any MSI products? Just curious.
At the moment we are working with MSI so keep your eyes peeled for some new release MSI sales.
Looking for X570 Tomahawk at a good deal, plus more. Please don't be too long! ;)
Bought one and it's gone straight to
"Awaiting Shipment' – Stock is available, order has been packaged, and is awaiting courier pick-up
Just wish The Dell S2721DGF comment came up before I ordered. But I'll live with the tacky rgb mainly just wanted ips and the refresh rate
Another 10 units have arrived in stock - Pricing has been updated.
The Dell S2721DGF/ LG GL850 is better in most areas according to Hardware Unboxed and with how often Dell goes on sale, I'd be hesitant to buy this unless you wanted a monitor ASAP or really like the aesthetic Gigabyte offers here.
