  • Big W Online was offering at the same price but sold-out this afternoon, so I missed out.
Glad that I am able to buy from Amazon instead now.
    Cool. Thank you for sharing.

  • It's cheap for what it is, but plenty of AVG reviews on Amazon.

And productreview. Saying lid falls off and it's noisy.

      • Criteria 1 for a good kettle is low noise - if it sounds like a steam train in the kitchen then no thanks…

      • Still one of the better reviewed kettle on productreview. So it can't be "that bad" and you do get a two year warranty should it go wrong.

Here is my review in productreview. I’ve never had a problem with the lid falling off or water leaking. I’ve had mine for 2 years and still think it’s a good kettle.

  • Reviews not good

    • +7

      every kettle has bad reviews

      • +1

        Same with toasters

  • I had one and it leaked everywhere, plenty of others say the same.

    What, no app control? lol

I own this and is a great kettle. Recommended

I have one and it's really good. Sturdy, does the job well, can't complain.

  • Thanks 👍

  • I've had this kettle for a few years now and it has been excellent! The temperature numbers rubbed off on first cleaning so there's a little guesswork but other than that 100%.

  • My lid fell off (broke off) from normal use.

Numbers disappear with normal cleaning too.

  • OOS i think.

  • Bought one of these for home two years ago and it's still going as good as it did when it was new. Used multiple times daily.

  • Why don’t I have a credit card with price protection? I’ve bought two of these. One for a gift and one for us! Great kettle!

  • I got one.
    It's a kettle, it works.

  • Mum just bought one of these last week from myer for like $70~

Good kettle, just find the beeping noises to be a tad odd. But like the variable boiling temperature though.

Well now I have a new kettle to replace my perfectly fine, working kettle.

Thank you and I hate you.

  • Have the same from a previous deal, no real issues but it looks and feels very cheap; pretty sure the base's material is plastic that's made to look like metal

  • I Have this Kettle. I would rate it average as well. The beeping to let me know the water has boiled is handy but it kinda needs to be "woken up" and so needs two button presses before it starts heating up the water. I have often walked away thinking it's boiling the water just to realise I have to press the button again. Also the keep warm function only works for temps under 90 degrees.

Also the keep warm function only works for temps under 90 degrees.

Why would that be an issue? It makes perfect sense why it would only work below 90 degrees. Who would want the kettle to keep the water at almost boiling point constantly? LOL

      • Yeah, it makes sense. I didn't put two and two together while buying it. It's a good FYI….

Got one of these. Beeped like crazy. Got a soldering iron and took the speaker out. Works like a champ now. I don't recommend doing this BTW.

    In stock at Amazon again

    @ce5himm @miguellin737

    • Thank you. place an order now!

    • thank you. Still try to figure out how much difference between this and Kmart one

      • I think I will just keep it simple, my understanding is too many fancy functions makes it easy to fail. Simple get the job done.

  • Why would anyone buy this over the Xiaomi smart kettle which is cheaper and has more functions?

    • Cheaper? Where?

Handle looks flimsy people complaining about handle coming loose on Amazon.

  • bought it thanks OP

  • Got 1 Thanks OP! I was going to buy the Breville version for $159 from Goodguys But couldn't explain paying 4X and getting 1 Year warranty Vs 2 Years on this one. This is like $20 a year which is not bad at all.
