JBL, so harsh treble.
Junk But Loud
LOL, they're ok IMO
Haha, I had not heard that one before. Made me laugh.
@revheadgl: Really not true boys and girls. JBL have stepped their game up biig time since Harman pushed millions of dollars of R&D into proper double blind testing methodology. They hired Floyd Toole to guide the process and following the M2 master reference monitor was released. If you listen to the cheap LSR 305 and 308 monitors this gives you an idea of the improvements that were incorporated into a large range of speakers following.
JBL might've had a name as 'junk mainstream' speakers. Ie the crap pa speakers down at the local gym but spend some time listening to some of the newer models and they've come a long way.
@Audiofilez: You bring up a very fair point. It has been quite some time since I last gave a set of JBL speakers a listen.
sold out so these are on a great special at the moment

White only unless you want to pony up rrp. Maybe use some contact vinyl to your taste.

Ok sensitivity and a 5.5" driver means you dont have much bass response… 100hz… so you kind of like need a sub.
