Once people get wind that it's just a bunch of hot air

        • At least it doesn't suck…!

          • -5

@TechAddict: Then you would expect the price to drop instead of increase….

  • damn it! i bought the Ozito set :(
145km/h is not very high right?

    • I've their little petrol one and it's 320. I can't see 145 cutting it really. Depends on use I guess.

they have the 18v one that blows at 245kph apparently. is only $109rrp for skin only.

About 1.5 years ago, Bunnings was competing with a Bosch sale. Got it this Ryobi for $99 with 5Ah battery.

        • good to know it comes down and includes battery.
how do you find using it?

          • @Karlos101: Does the job well, I use in on hard surfaces (paths, driveway) for leaves and tidy up after doing hedges or path edging.

I brought ozito last week then I changed this one this week after saw this.

      • -1

        Where did you bring it?

  • Is this any good for removing water off a car after washing?

      • can never trust this guy lol

        • -2

Why? What's wrong with that product?

    • -3

      Buy dry wet vacuum

@circly you want the workshop blower. its smaller, as a rubber nozzle and a higher velocity.

I have this one and the 36 V one , the 18 V one is slow and does a fair job , but not quick enough to stop spots .
18 V takes over 5 minutes and still needs a cloth to finish .
The 36 V one is fast and has a car finished in 2-3 minutes.

    Why is this a bargain???

    • +1

      RRP is not a bargain.
I also watched some reviews of it and it looks to struggle blowing grass clippings off a driveway.

      • +2

        I use this one

        245km/h air velocity

        vs

145km/h for the one posted in this deal…

I have one of these and its great. Super light and compact too so good if you need something to clear saw dust and debris from work benches for example.

I grabbed it on a combo deal with one of the bigger batteries for cheap.

          • @Justin Powell:

I grabbed it on a combo deal

same, have had it for many years…

      • Not really strong honestly and but better than ozito… also the price is Ok.

        • BTW there is usually on ozito equivalent for most of the Ryobi common tools

    • ozjunkmail dot com

    • I didn’t see this price with battery before…maybe I am wrong.

  • Not available online.

    Why did you say that?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-18v-one-2-0ah-jet-blower-k…

    • Coz you can’t buy online, everything is not available at my end not sure your area. But I checked in store there are some.

        Coz you can’t buy online

        Here you go…

  • Bought this on the weekend and it does the trick, easily removes clippings off my exposed aggregate. I also have a spare battery now which is great.

FWIW - air speed on it's own isn't an indicator of the power. Gotta look at both volume (cfm or m3/min) and speed together. For instance, the 245klm/hr one i think is only 120cfm, where as this one is 200cfm.

    • FWIW - air speed on it's own isn't an indicator of the power.

No it's not, but for blowing leaves and grass clippings, it is a much better indicator of effectiveness than power is…

      • +2

Apologies, should've used the word force instead of power. Being a calculation of the velocity and the volume of the air the blower moves, it provides a much better understanding than only considering one side of the equation. For instance, my 190klm/hr 500cfm blower is about 3 times faster than my 245klm/hr 120cfm blower when blowing off my driveway.

  • So…. this is not a "special" price…. https://pricehipster.com/product/URbvaokvk6peYvctaOBNyg~HJ1K…

    • Oh, this is a good web I am looking for, thanks.
