  • Seems you only get the thongs with the party sharer pack, i.e not your favourite flavour as per description. No deal.

    • You can choice any flavour you like Pinchies and free postage

      • Cool, have ordered and put flavour request in the comment section. The free shipping only appears when buying the australia day party item.

  • Are the Aussie thongs made in China?

    • lol..let me restate, you will get a pair of thongs that symbolize Australia (see example on website).

Beef Jerky is made in Brisbane and will be delivered by Australia Post (I think Australia owned).

Love Geronimo jerky. Took a big bag of Blazin' Saddle away on our Christmas holidays and it was a huge hit.

Evenings spent playing poker and a few drinks: snacking on bite-size chunks of G.J. was much more popular than chips'n'dips.

    • Dont think its valid to neg this deal

here's how it should read "buy an overpriced, excessively dry bag of a compound resembling what once used to be meat to get a free pair of $2 thongs you can otherwise buy from cheap as chips to convey your bogan pride this summer"

    • If you don't like the price make it yourself

    • +2

Did you accidentally eat the thongs instead of the jerky?

  • i ordered a big pack 3 x 200gms

btw Auspost is owned by the government

  • Excuse my ignorance and always wanted to try Geronimo Jerky but is $120kg actually cheap?

    • I have often wondered why it costs so much… Nothing against the deal just curious.

      • +1

Well I can make it home cheap but we only use the best cuts of topside with close to no fat-

I suppose to give you an idea of some challenges we come up against.

*Three Kilos of meat reduce down to 1 kilo of beef jerky.
*We cook our product for 17 hours.
*to make up marinade for something like flamin arrow it cost a bit-to marinade 3 kilos of beef we spend $10 just on the chilli extract.

We dont mass produce as we are a small company. Next time you pick up a cheap pack of jerky that is mass produced have a look what's in it-artificial flavours and alot of them have bulking agents to make there product weigh more. Ours is low fat, high protein, High in iron, no artificial flavours, no artificial preservatives, gluten free and free of bulking agents.

We take a lot of pride in making our beef jerky and have recently taken out one of the only medals at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Awards.

I hope this gives everyone some insight into who we are.

Night all, Sounds like my little three year old is awake and I am on sick duty tonight.

Any questions feel free to contact me.

        • Cheers… Food for thought!

    • We sell 1 Kilo bags for for $90.

  • It's not rocket science making beef jerky. I did it myself at home a few times when I was a kid.

Got bored with it after that. At $120kg I might take it up again and go pro

    • $90 a kilo :-)

I use to make beer when I was young, pretty easy to do :-)

      Hmmmm…. Geronimo Stout?

  • I bought some beef jerky from GeronimoJerkey before Christmas. Buck Shot & Blazing Saddle.
The flavours were good (and I guess sufficiently salty to make me want more), but I found the consistency a little hit and miss. Some pieces were amazing, almost melt in your mouth, other pieces so hard and stringy you could hardly chew it (and had to spit the final wad of meat).

I don't have any other jerky to compare it to. I don't regret buying it, but I won't buy it again.

  • Just a quick message-Deal finishes tonight.

Take care and have a great weekend and a great Australia Day.
