  • Hmmm, what network do your sims use in NZ?

Do you do any sims that are good for a couple of months in NZ, I need a couple, for phone and wifi modem, currently looking at the Spark $59 sims (wish they had a bit more data though)…

    • Our SIM uses 2degree network, our Europe SIM works in NZ (data only) and it comes with 12GB of data

Kogan NZ has a decent $5 (30 days) new customer Sim deal (15GB data, unlimited text/calls) if you can find somewhere to send it to.

    • $35 now, where can I find $5 deal?

  • +2

    Hey,

Whats better than a $15 Sim.
    A free Sim!

You do have to add value though:

    • Thank you. This is perfect for us in this uncertain covid climate. Top up or buy another when you get there. Risk free.

  • When do the sim cards expire? Looking to activate in December.

    • The only SIM that expire soon is the NZ 15 Days 8GB Physical SIM which has an expire date of 30 June 2021. All the others are 31 December 2021

  • Wonder if it is cheaper to get a local sim?

    • +1

Depends what you're after. Your main options are Vodafone; Spark; Skinny; 2Degrees; Kogan.

  • Just buy a local Vodafone SIM when you arrive there. Don't do it at the airport though….
