If you suffer from bad allergies/hayfever etc an air purifier can make a real difference to your health.
This is one of the best I have come across and is at a good price

I have heard that ion-based air purifiers are nasty because a) they apparently generate significant amounts of Ozone (O3) which is very dangerous to your lungs and b) they apparently filter virtually nothing of the dirt/dust in the air compared to HEPA grade purifiers.
Would be interesting to see what others say about this type of air purifier.
Thanks Paradigmvortex, I've had a bit of a look into the this ozone issue.
It appears that the manufacturers of most ionisers are saying it's all good, but the EPA in the USA doesn't agree - http://www.epa.gov/iaq/pubs/ozonegen.html
Others also have big concerns about the ozone producing machines - http://www.cal-iaq.org/o3_fact.pdf
Having read all this I cannot recommend buying one of these machines to anybody - thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Out of interest, if DSTORE still offered a MoneyBackCo discount it would be cheaper on a net basis to buy from Dstore - what happened to the Dstore money back???
