I have 6 of these solar sensor lights set up around the house. They are really bright and have lasted 3 years without issue. Typically I pay $50 - $60 for a pair when on special at Kogan or eBay Plus. This works out to be the cheapest ever so I picked up enough to redo my whole house should they eventually wear out. Free shipping with Kogan Plus makes this deal even better. You have to add more than one to the cart to see the further reduced price.
100 LED Solar Light 2 or More $16.99 Each ($19.99 for 1 Only) + Delivery ($0 Shipping with Kogan First) @ Kogan

yeah…put the panel in a high exposure sight to sun (eg. eaves) run the cord to where you want to mount the light, drill a few holes
Thanks.
How bright are these. 300lms bright enough
not really bright at all…
Only 300 lumens? Nah, Not enough
thanks OP, just what I'm looking for atm
Hi OP - do you know if these can be setup to ignore the motion sensor and just turn on when it gets dark?
I have a strong feeling this might run when motion detected only, otherwise you'll consume the battery pretty quick
there is a manual override switch…but youll drain a full battery charge in less than an hour
Thanks, that was my suspicion, appreciate the response
If you are going to buy these and not use them for some time make sure to charge the batteries up every 2-6 months
or when needed as otherwise you will find they could end up killing the included batteries.
and theyre not as easy as youd think to swap out….my unit had an 18650 lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery Pack in it and its just not cost effective replacing it from what i could see
before anyone goes and orders 12x of these ….have 4 similar units purchased from ebay over the years
-300 lumens is piss weak…my units have 120 smd led (1K claimed lumens) and id still like them brighter
-the batteries in these units may or may not last the distance. one of mine died…other 3 are ok still, but have lost some brightness
-replacing batteries is not easy…they are a 18650 lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery Pack with a specific adaptor attached at the end that is hard to source locally…ymmv
I have the 120 smd led one as well and I find the 100 LED ones to be infinitely better. Not sure why but that's why I stick to the 100 LED ones. Mine are bright based on good sunlight. Never needed to replace any batteries so far.
interesting..
the ones i have are these from ebay:
they look identical to the $24.99 ones on kogan:
…is that similar to the 120 smd led ones youve tried?
Yep they all look similar. I bought the 120 leds for my carport and for some reason they only go on with reasonable brightness a few times. After that they are weak as. My other 100 led ones which get triggered constantly by my animals stay strong the whole night. I've stuck to them ever since.
so counter intuitive isnt it? youd expect the larger more powerful unit with a bigger solar panel to produce more consistent brightness
120 leds may draw too much from the battery, 100 might be it's maximum?
Are these easy to set up?
