As usual, Amazon is trying to match Woolworths weekly specials.
Plenty of varieties are $9.72 on Amazon
Enjoy
He's called Chef Mike.
Well that's just confusing
As in chef microwave :)
It's a Gordon Ramsay line
hmmm so online buy rice, wait for delivery, then go to woolies to buy and bread and milk which has rice for same price , so much for carbon footprint reduction ….
amazon needs to have more specials on pantry items if they want to make the most of a delivery box ….
buy UHT milk and flour from Amazon to bake your own bread
Haaiiiiyyaaa I hear Asian ancestors crying in their grave…
true story, my husband (korean) when we got married he thought he would be eating “white” food and he would buy, microwave rice, continental pasta microwave packets, chicken tonight jars, etc, Never in my life have I eaten these. But he thought he was doing the right thing.
His hair started falling out in clumps, like alopecia. He stopped eating these things and it grew back.
Crazy.
Lol
But he's kind of right, that would mostly pass as 'white' food in some households
Yeah, nothing ordinary would satisfy his sophisticated pallet nor could trump his delectable home style dishes.

Poor Uncle Ben.. can't have his face or name on products any more because Mars went Woke.
Taste like cr@p.
I got some free packs of these when they were giving them out at uni a few years back. Can't remember which flavours exactly, but they tasted so horrible and bland, and I could not get past a few mouthfuls. Maybe the recipe has changed since? But otherwise I would recommend to avoid, there are tastier, healthier and more nutritious instant meals out there these days for a low price.
Cool, interested to hear them, links?
Love the coconut rice varieties
yep,you don’t buy these because you want plain white rice ….it’s because you want the mexican rice, or lemon grass chilli and coconut rice ….or you just need one serving of indian spiced rice, making flavoured rices for one or 2 people occasionally can be a hassle unless you make it daily and stock up on the extra ingredients e.g coconut milk, lemongrass, etc and use before they go off.
when are they gonna bring out an Uncle Roger's line of rice products ?
All this time I thought Uncle Ben was Ainsley Harriott, I think I need to go to Specsavers. I only realised when I found out the Chef's name wasn't Ben.
