Probably would have been a good deal a couple of years ago - however locally I manage to pick up slabs of Dr Pepper for about $25 to $30 from about 3 or 4 locations that sell it within a 10 min drive from my house. If it was Dr Pepper Zero though I would be all over this.
Know what the shipping prices are like?
the america formula actually tastes different to the ones sold locally
i actually liked dr pepper while in the states, i do no like the taste of the local ones
Most of the stuff I buy over here looks to be imported from the UK according to the can's. I believe these are all made using sugar over the syrup - I could be wrong but I believe that all Dr Pepper produced in the UK contains cane sugar.
I haven't had a can of the stuff from the US for years so can't really compare the taste. I suppose if you want some authentic Dublin Dr Pepper though go for this. If not stick with the standard UK imports.
Dublin Dr Pepper is the best tasting by far. You can really notice the difference between this and the UK imports. The UK ones sorta taste, for lack of a better description, watered down when you compare the two.
I don't mind paying a bit extra to get the Dublin Dr Pepper personally, it's definitely worth it imo. I'll be picking up a couple slabs even though postage to WA doubles the price, still about $2.25 a can is a decent price considering how delicious it is.
Dublin Dr Pepper is no longer.
Dr Pepper sued Dublin Dr Pepper, and Dublin Dr Pepper is now "Dublin Bottling Works Inc" and have been told they're unable to make the Imperial pure cane sugar Dublin Dr Pepper any more.Sadface

Shipping is $57 to QLD. Making the cans more expensive than what I pay now. Plus they expire in April.
No Deal!
The shipping calculator on the usafoods website usually just guesses the price but when they actually post the items to you they only charge the exact amount that it costs them to post it, so the postage cost that they end up charging you sometimes ends up being a lot cheaper.
Could it not also then end up a lot more expensive? :S
yeah if you ask a shop that stocks it im sure they would sell you a slab for a similar price
I saw some really cheap at Costco a week ago. Forgot the price tho. Does anyone know off the top of their head?
I bought it before Christmas for a workmate and the 24 can pack at Auburn was $30
any1 know where u can get A&W root beer for a decent price. I refuse to pay $2.50 per can.
This is a better deal: http://www.unclesamsfoods.com/content/aw-cream-soda-12-pack
try some asian grocery stores… they stock them but i think its the asian one (not us ones).. taste the same to me .. about $1-$1.50 a can
pour out the A&W into a mug, drop a scoop of ice cream in and you'll have A&W root beer float
Costco has them for $29.00 for 24 cans. Dr Pepper and A&W Rootbeer
i might be wrong, but i think the ones you can get from most stores (inc Costco) are the cheaper corn syrup imitations…
as an aside, these have been $40 for 2 slabs in the past…and shipping has been $20 to Sydney from past experiences. (their shipping estimator is usually wrong).
This is Dublin Dr Pepper (true to the original formula, no corn syrup, made in the USA from America's oldest Dr Pepper Bottling facility)
This deal is also in-store (no shipping) until Thursday 19th January 2012.

Not even if it was free :).
Reject Shops sell the Dublin Dr Pepper for $1.50 a can.
sadly, not my Reject Shop.
I got all those american drinks in @ work, selling for $2 a can, or $24 a slap (including Dr.pepper, cherry coke, pineapple fanta ect, Leabrook IGA adelaide for anyone wondering.
Are these cane sugar or corn syrup ones?
