[Switch] Syberia 1 & 2 - $2.41 (was $47.95) - Nintendo eShop

890

Great price for these two games - 2 cents more than the all time lowest price but obviously still worth it as the first two games are highly regarded.

From the website: Syberia 1 & 2:

In Syberia, join Kate Walker on an extraordinary journey that takes her all the way from Western Europe to the far reaches of Eastern Russia. You will come across a host of endearing characters and incredible locations as you search for traces of Hans Voralberg, the genius inventor of the automatons. It is a search that will take you to the legendary island of Syberia, in the far North of the continent, where the last living mammoths reside, hidden from modern eyes…

Continue the adventure in Syberia 2! After roaming Europe from West to East in search of Hans, Kate Walker sets out on another long journey, this time across the Great North. She will soon be faced with the dangers of the wild, religious fanaticism, and poachers seeking to lay their hands on the precious ivory of the Mammoths…

What will become of Kate Walker and her friends? Find out wherever you happen to be!

This version includes two complete games: Syberia and Syberia 2.

Enjoy!

Amazing deal. Ended up costing me 15c as I had some points from previous purchases.

    • That is indeed a great deal for two great games on a Nintendo system.

  • Great games. Thanks.

If they have the patience for a story driven point and click adventure then yeah.

I just bought siberia 2 on sale for 2.25 two days ago. Is that how the eshop does it suck you in then roll out a better deal? Im new to switch.

I always use dekudeal website to check for games on sales https://www.dekudeals.com/

      • That's what I did and 2 was rated the best deal on eshop last week by discount %. Oh well, I probably wont get time to play it anyway so nothing really lost.

      • vooks.net has the current entire list, I believe.

    • Could be worse. There has been many times when customers have purchased items on a digital game store then found out soon later that the game would be given as part of a subscription service such PSN+ or Games with Gold or Game pass on Xbox.

  • might check them out

  • What kind of game is it? What's the game play? Visual novel?

  • For anyone waiting for a deal on the whole Syberia Trilogy…. don't.

I go my wife the hard copy version for Christmas as it was on special, and is her style of game. She loved the first two, and loathed the second, only completing it out of a sense of obligation.

The control scheme is changed from the first two games, meaning that when you play them back-to-back it messes with you. The narrative for the last one is just… awful.

1 & 2 are good together. Just ignore the last one and you'll be better off.

You mean she loathed the third - that is the one most people do not like.

      • Whoops! Right you are, thanks :D

  • Wonderful games! They obviosuly screwed the third :( Hope the next one in development is better.

  • I enjoyed these on PS3 and Android, well worth it at this price if you like Broken Sword, etc.

  • got a free copy from indiegala recently which i haven’t had time to play. so tempting this one :-p
