Almost double!
You really think these are 1200rrp anymore?
PLE still has these for $1400 if you're willing to wait.
You mean like the people who've waited 7 months with their money on hold?
Pretty sure scalpers are cheaper lmao.
Terrible [value] doesn’t even begin to cut it
"terrible value at the moment"
ozbargain
not ozinstock
Or ozGouged
Isn’t it $1,000 rrp? Why not buy a 3090 if could spend that much?
Nope.
Not even close to $1k RRP.
Will never be close to that price again, it’s all a thing of the past now
3090 are past $3K now. Seems a bunch came in from Gigabyte as I am seeing multiple stores with stock at $3.2K
Good lord. I got one of these about a month ago for 1500 from Kogan, I thought that was a rip off.
May as well spend a bit more and get a 3090.
oh god this is horrendous price gouging
Lmao, you must think we are all millionaires.
aweful price, what a rip off
How rude!
GTX 1080ti $700 to GTX 3080 $2300????
ps5+55" tv
For everybody crucifying this guy, eBay sold listing's show this going for $300 more… People stating Ozrrp are out of touch with what is actually obtainable.
crucifying this close to easter is bit tacky
Lets resurrect some old cards.
and the phony RRP prices Nvidia came out with…. just like the phoney prices they had on the 2080ti models…
They were never gonna sell so cheap, and never will.
I never said it was a good deal & I know it's well above RRP. If you don't think it's worth the price, that's fine, don't buy it. 3080's are hard to find and the cheapest 3090 I've come across was $2800 and it wasn't in stock. You could always look into mining to try and offset the cost of the card. I don't know how accurate the nice hash calculator is but it currently says a 3080 can make about $11 a day minus power costs. It might tank and you'd be left with the full cost of the card, it might not, it's a gamble you need to make.
Soo, what you're saying is that it's not a bargain…?
Yep, not a bargain at all. A bargain would be a card at RRP in the current market. Fact is they don't exist and it doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon. Even second hand cards are selling for more now than they were 3 months ago.
I remember whinging a few years ago when I bought a 1070 for $800 and look at the situation now haha
I remember thinking what a bad deal the 20 series cards were when the 30 series cards were announced. If only I knew how bad it would get.
Out of stock now. Based on what I've read I think availability is going to get worse before it gets better. Good luck to anyone trying to get one. Hopefully you can get one closer to RRP.
a 3080 for the price of a 3090 what a bargain.
Quick buy it.3090s are a $3.5k card atm..
omg what a deal!!! $2299 for rtx 3080 and plus delivery
They said the Rtx 20xx series wasn't going to age well. Judging by these prices, my 2070 super that cost $690 last March was a bargain
Not a deal, way above RRP
