Similar pricing at DickSmith but postage costs add to it.
The price for the 1KW blender is good, I bought one last year and even with the discounts at the time it was $100.
But..
I'd have to say the design is poor. The push and twist idea is fundamentally flawed as things wear and the tabs that you engage to hold the cup in and switch on power, get sloppy.
The result is you find the cup isn't really locked and the motor starts spinning, the rubber drive gets smashed and torn.
I bought replacement drive and gears from the USA, but the slip in the mechanism and the loose mounting of the motor couldn't be recovered.
In the end I bought a replacement 1KW Bellini brand from K-Mart, which has a mechanism that you engage the cup mechanically and then a pushbutton to start the motor. It's an $80 unit and more robust than the NutriBullet.
