Would I be able to connect this to a PS3 via HDMI?

@ Trishool nope the HDMI connection on this HT system is output only, the only digital input is optical.
Hmm I suppose makes more sense that way

Bing Lee had a 3D Bluray system advertised on the Sunday paper for $359 "negotiable". Much better buy than an outdated dvd version. JB had the Samsung 3D Bluray one (with smaller front speakers) for $299 in their recent sales. I got it for my folks and it's a very neat little system.
"OMG" you should have put it up on OzBargain as well and I would have gone for it.
'but I suppose you can connect it to your Blue Ray and ebay the DVD player.'
Not if you want the speakers to work.
The DVD player also acts as the amp for the speakers, your standard Blu-ray player does not have any amplifier functions built in.
You could connect a Blu-ray player to this via optical digital connection.
