forgive my kfc ignorance but what's the difference between a zinger fillet and a "hot and crispy boneless chicken piece"?
first time i've ever seen it.
Zinger fillets are breast meat, boneless chicken pieces are thigh/side and leg.
The "boneless chicken" is much better tasting IMO.
I don't think the Fill Up Hot & Crispy Boneless is available in NSW, at least any of the stores I checked
+1 never heard of this crispy boneless chicken in NSW. Sounds like a zinger fillet to me.

I think this is the worst fill up lunch so far. They replace the usual 1 piece of original/hot and spicy with 1 donut/dinner roll and 1 wicked wing.
It’s not one donut… a snack size donuts has 7 in it.
And just like that poof the tower is gone…
I just wish they kept the $5 twisters, twisters are never on sale or in a bundle deal.
The tower was never in the Sydney stores near me. I got rorted!
The "Tower" is a rort. It's just got a hash brown in it and suddenly it's a huge burger……The original Tower back in the day had the hashbrown between two fillets!
think there was a "Hawaiian" one with pineapple and bacon added as well.
@Cave Fire: I miss the hawaiian one soooo much. It's a permanent offering at KFC over at NZ. Occasionally me and my kiwi partner will add a slice of pineapple to a zinger burger to try and recreate it.
@Cave Fire: memory is a bit hazy, but there was Hawaiian and "mega" tower burger. so you had a few options at that size. the ads were pretty "90's" extreme lol… think it was just before the matrix came out or just after.
I got a Tower last week and was surprised that it actually had two fillets in it as well as the hash brown.

Oh it's not illogical at all, see I live in the NT and apart from having Hot N Spicy available year round, we rarely get any 'innovative' products.
I hope KFC decide to take on Pauls next! KFC Iced Coffee.. mmmm
We've already had Mint Slice Milk and Maxibon Dare Ice Coffee as well as McDonald's Burger candles so it's definitely possible haha
When KFC had a breakfast menu, they did donut sticks, so it's not entirely unheard of.
Oh I almost forgot they were called donut sticks and not cinnamon sticks because that's all I could taste

There's also a go bucket with doughnuts for 3.95 definitely not a great deal compared to this deal but I'm not the biggest fan of the sugar doughnuts touching the salted chips probably a new taste sensation.

I just tried the donuts and its not that good, box was pretty shit too, small piece of chicken wing and a small tender thats been cut in half, not worth it imo

Had this today. Pretty underwhelming. That piece of chicken was about the size of the already small wing in the box. At least the chips were fresh and hot.

hmm, probably a corporate idea, donuts are trending, so let's also sell donuts. However, people associate kfc as being oily, so may even perceive the donuts being weird tasting even though they could be made separately. I think they would also absorb the chicken smell etc…

Mine were smaller than usual chook pieces, yes. One was smaller than a wing, but still counted as a piece. So only really got 9 and a half. It was nice chicken meat, yes. But not spicy at all.

My 2cents. KFC donuts are VERY underwhelming. They are like smaller, ball-shaped stale donut-king cinnamon donuts.
hot & spicy donuts is what they should've marketed, i reckon heaps of people would buy that monstrosity with its sweet & salty spicy taste…i wouldn't be one of them though, can't handle spicy foods.
