  • Been waiting for a discount for this but $25 for rgb fans hmmm

    • +1

Imo. Get this case. Move the front two fans to the top then get a 3 pack of rgb fans to put at the front.

      • Yeah grabbed it already ahaha thanks

      • no gey RGB no deal!

  • I got this case and love it. I didnt build in it myself but the people that did loved putting my pc together.,

  • Tempting. Was looking at downgrading a 011 XL with RGB crap all over to something clean again.

  • I have this case. Great case. Great temps.

  • Love this case and that is a fantastic price. Had mine for 4 months so far.

  • Is it just me or these new Lian Li's are nothing like those aluminium ones from a decade ago?

    • I still have my PC v-1200. It's lying under my bed collect ing dust. One of my favourite cases

  • so it comes with optional USB-C, how do you add that to the cart?

    • -1

That's nothing to do with the USB-C port, it's just saying it includes a fan controller which is optional to use.

      • I think they're referring to this.

        • Ahh so it is related to the USB-C, my bad.

Just a heads up, Lian Li designed that cable for the og Lancool II, not the LC2 Mesh. For some dumb reason they changed and made the screw holes bigger where that cable port goes into

          • +2

@melonfresh: I've got the Lancool II Mesh and used that cable without any issue. Not sure what you're referring to because mine installed perfectly. Just got to make sure you follow the instructions carefully and don't accidentally put the screws in from the wrong side which is what I did the first time.

  • I bought this case a few weeks ago from Centre Com (although it is not any cheaper now - it's been at this price for ages).

It doesn't support a 280mm radiator support up top, keep that in mind if you do AIO.

Having said that, out of the box it has great air performance, and the build quality is great for the price. But yes no USB-C is included at the front, it's just an empty port, you need to buy an extension for that (another 30+)

    • Thanks for the tip, was thinking of putting a NZXT Kraken Z63 280mm up there.

  • I am actually considering Between this and Phantek P500A
How is the noise level when game and at idle as I am somewhat bothered by noise in a quiet night?

    • There is actually a switch at the front which controls the fan controller 1/2/3 and 4 (MB controlled).
If you're lazy you can just flick the switch, rather than have to go to software to do it.
Having said that, at full blast, it's not exactly quiet, being a very open mesh case. Really depends on what fan speeds you want to run at.

      • Thanks.

I don't reckon the machine will go full blast unless something terrible is happening insider or perhaps cryptomining which I don't do. But still that is something to consider, I guess nothing is perfect.

        • It'll be fine at most temps. Would recommend if you don't want the RGB version (which replaces the fan switch with RGB colour selector).

  • Amazing case, highly recommend it

  • i have this case and I highly recommend it. comes with a PWM fan controller with 3 free slots. airflow is good only problem I had with this case was I had to remove the cable management plate to fit my 3080.
