$194.60 including cashbacks if purchasing using a 5% gift card discount via https://www.cashrewards.com.au/choice-gift-card

You don't need AfterPay either if using this approach—just select AfterPay in the eBay checkout as the payment method and bring the remaining cost down to $0 using gift card(s). Gift cards are purchased and usable immediately without needing to wait around.

    • Thanks mate..

    • not sure how this works, you can only buy $200 or $250 gift card. The NVME drive costs $228 after discount, so you need to use $250 gift card for the purchase?

You'd have some money left over on the gift card you'd need to spend on something else at eBay. The credit is valid to use within 3 years and it pops up in the eBay checkout next time you checkout as an option to use up the remaining balance, so it's harder to forget to use.

Also I think it's possible to buy a $200 and $30 gift card. You can then convert both to equivalent value eBay gift cards then apply both gift cards at checkout (up to 7 gift cards used per transaction as a maximum).

    • i cant find 5%gift card?
And which gift card to purchase?
      Sorry new to this

      • Purchase Choice Gift Cards via Cashrewards with instant email delivery here https://www.cashrewards.com.au/gift-cards

That said, they've reduced the cashback from 5% to 1.5% in the last hour. But at least it allows you to avoid using Afterpay. More details here.

        • Seems like eBay have caught onto this workaround. I tried paying it all with gift cards and it wouldn't apply the Afterpay discount code. To get the $228 price I ended up paying $200 with a gift card and the remaining $28 with AfterPay.
