Already jumped to $4, I wonder if it will go back down or not.

Wasn't worth it at $3 IMO.

"Max & the Magic Marker" is the only decent/proper indie game I see, the rest look generic.

Nuclear Dawn is pretty great, this coming from someone who paid $10 for it.

    • Sweet, I only bought it because I saw it on there and it looked pretty fun on Steam.

    • +1

Nuclear Dawn is a good FPS/RTS mix, and if you like that you should definatley check out another Indie game in development called Natural Selection 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rkgztfuij2w

  • Bought. Thanks :) I want to check out the exclusive - super crossfire.

Wang is right. Nuclear Dawn is pretty good. Although they still need to do a bit of work on it, it's still better than when it launched.

I guess the main point in purchasing is nuclear dawn.
19.99 rrp on steam, and considering the recent holiday sale, max % drop was 75. (since i forgot) lets say it had 75% off, leads to 4.9975. If this bundle doesnt go over 4.98, its good.

  • Pretty much all I own though :(

I didn't even get an email for this one, instead I got one for the other Indie Bundle (galah) which has "lol we are having the same bundle for even longer derp derp"

    • +1

I noticed this too. Why did I subscribe to your newsletter if you don't actually tell me when bundles come out?

    • +1

I am wondering this too. I generally find out about indie bundles of any sort here about a day before I get an email about them. Pretty useless.

    • What's the "galah" one?

    • I wonder if the price you pay impacts whether or not you get sent an email…

    • I got the email only half an hour ago - just after reading this post. Indie Royale is definitely not as well administrated as Humble Indie.

  • +2

The George and Jonathan album rocks too. I paid $5 for it when it came out, based off the strength of their debut album. Could well be worth it just for that, but then again, I'm biased by actually liking chiptune :)

    • It's not bad, worth it's place in the collection :D

  • 3.65 now, got it, thanks!

Thanks for the post OP. Paid 5 bucks but I only downloaded Nuclear Dawn (had the rest / didn't want to play). The price is driven up by some generous people. Top contributor at 292 bucks. Funnily enough, the guy that paid that amount is the software engineer for Nuclear Dawn and the other top contributor developed Super CrossFire.

    • +4

Actually the price goes down when people pay more. If you just pay the minimum then the price goes up.

  • Keep in mind that this isn't the 'Humble Bundle' Series - where money gets donated to charities =]

    • +1

i believe it is similar to the humble bundle where you can choose how much gets donated to developers, charities, etc.

  • What's a 'bunble' ?

I passed on this, nothing of interest aside from Max and the Magic Marker, and I already have enough Steam games to get through.
