I haven't received mine yet. But comparing the two, there is a bit different. This one charges via USB C cable. The wow stick version charges through a dock. I believe it's USB 2. This one comes in a hard case.
The wowstick still charges via the top of the handle (via micro USB).The thing that looks like a dock is just a stand.
how does it compare to wowstick
I own the Wowstick 1f+, two things that look better on this newer model are :
•2x torque settings (Wow is fixed)
•USB C (Wow is micro)wowstick sounds like much better value since for an extra dollar you get a magnetic pad, magnetizer, tools to open phones, and a lot more screw bits.
The torque settings* on the new device look handy. Albeit only two settings.*Actually, it may well be two speed settings as they're refered to as "gears".
You do get a lot of bits with the 1f but I must admit I've only ever used about 2 of them.
Due to policy reasons, this product does not existEdit: my deliver to country was set to USA, changed to Australia and works now.
I says this tiny size one is not that good for tiny screw as well. This one with the right adapter will works better:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001709124888.htmlWhy are you comparing an electric screwdriver with an electric precision screwdriver? They serve different purposes.
Also I believe this set is non magnetic tips, in case thats a deal breaker for some.
Thanks for clarifying. Was about to pull the trigger.
… W/ Magnetic Storage Case & 24pcs S2 Steel Bits
The way they write it one can easily mistake it for having magnetic bits.
Cheers for that. I was about to take the plunge
Can anyone confirm? i don’t see why they wouldn’t be
They are not magnetised. Not uncommon for precision bits, as you don't always want magnetisation.
The Xiaomi WowStick's bits are also unmagnetised but come with a mini magnetiser.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page in the Q&A section, it says the bits are magnetised.
I have a wow-stick and I'm pretty sure it has a built-in light as well.
I've been very happy with the wow-stick.I'm sure they will improve this one in later versions.
A light does seem like a no brainer for this type of product doesn't it. What do you mean you're pretty sure the wow-stick has a built-in light; if you own it wouldn't you be certain of that?
All wowsticks have a built-in light. I have the AAA version and the 1fs both have lights.
I wished this model had built-in LED light, but seemed not. (Please correct if I am wrong)
is there a 1/4" hex bit adapter to use normal screwdriver bits?
given the size of the handle i don’t think this will have enough torque for normal sized screws
Where do i put in the code?
At the checkout.
It’s not letting me do it on the app, is it in the coupon field?
I let you guys decide which one to buy. I've both of them now. No way I would use wowstick. Too much to carry.

how does it compare to wowstick?
Even the 1f is only a dollar extra.
