[VIC] Fractal Design Define 7 Compact TG ATX Case $159 Pickup Only @ Centre Com

160

Pretty good price for this case. I have this case myself and can't really fault it except for average airflow and thermals. Fans can get pretty loud in stock fan configuration and I'm not sure if adding another intake fan will make a big difference. Had the Meshify 2 and it was really good for airflow but was too big and too expensive, and that one had an extra intake fan. I have a 5600x which idles at around 30-35 degrees C and an RTX 3070 which idles considerably higher at 40-50 degrees C. During gaming though it's similar to other cases I use (albeit a little louder) and I get 60-70 degrees C for the CPU and around 70 degrees C for the GPU.

Update: Online stock exhausted — now pickup only and no delivery.

I think a bunch of Fractal cases will be obselete with the new Meshify coming in. Very crowded product line.

Just be prepared for the poor postage times ordering from this mob. I’m still waiting on a microSD card ordered over a week and half ago to be delivered to Sydney.

  • I have this case, the rigidity, quality, durability and construction have come a long way.
I really like it, and have no regrets.
Front panel ports options are great with 2xUSB2, 2xUSB3 and 1xUSBC with the USB3.1 or 3.2 or 3.1 Gen 2 or 3.2 Gen 2 or 3.2 Gen 1 or 3.1 Gen 1 or whatever the USBIF call their shit these days type motherboard connector.
    Seriously USBIF, get it together.
I with them changing the names of shit after it's released and established how can anyone take them seriously.

  • I have this case too, very tight if you have multiple HDDs installed.

    • I have two, is it going to be hard to install two?

      • I'm struggling to install one HDD in the cage and route the 24pin ATX cable.

  • Seems like the Online stock is gone, click and collect still up though.

    • Yes, sadly. The only places in stock are really far away from where I am : /
