  That's a $690 lens makes for a very good deal I prefer the 600 to the 550, it doesn't do full hd video but Meh. I have used my 5DMK2 for video a few times and it's a pain unless your using a tripod and fixed focus, audio is just rubbish.

  I know its not the same lens but I got a kiss x5 (600d) with 18-55 IS lens and a rc6 remote from dwi for $708 delivered a couple weeks ago. For those whom have little use for the bigger lens it may be a viable alternative.
